BO stats may be fun to discuss on here but I don't think anyone cares about it more than content. I certainly don't base my opinion off how well or bad a movie does.

more than us the particular actors care .. for them unforutnately, everything has become restricted to earning 100 crore wid their film, irrespective of the qualities of their films..

I don't give a fig about Box-office figures...but I admit, that I do enjoy to see a bad film tank at the box-office as much as I rejoice on seeing a good film do well commerically!

Most of my favorite films have all been colossal disasters at the box-office anyway!😆

I think BO matters in general, because its only natural that as an audience, we expect, that the film we loved was appreciated by others too! But I don't think a real lover of cinema would care anything about how well or not well their favorite film does at the BO! Numbers are for the producers and actors, not for the audience.

Until...I joined this forum I knew of only two statuses of movies...Hit and flop...but man are there categories that would put an SAP system to shame...

Disaster

Below average

Average

Above average

Semi-hit

hit

super hit

ATBB

and then there is a Box office idiots(BOI) who do all this and then there is the 100 cr club and a 200 cr club and life time collection...first day collection...weekend collection...weekdays collection...gross collection...net collection...ROI...holiday opener ...non holiday opener...producer's share...music rights...the list goes on...

Why ...why ...why??? Isn't are life complicated enough...what happened to the sweet HITS and FLOPS???😭
