Couldn't yet watch the movie...would like to get to know if those who have already watched it can rely to what a friend wrote:

"Dear Shashank & Roshni,

You don’t represent perfect lovers.
You represent real people.

A generation still figuring itself out.
Not always confident.
Not always articulate.
Not always sure how to take up space.

And that’s why you connected.

Shashank - the presentation scare, the quiet underconfidence, the way you let people over-command you even when you’re capable of more.
Even the slight lisp in your words - unpolished, unhidden - just human.

How many of us carry that same hesitation?

And then that quiet evolution.

Alone, you were surviving.
In love, you were planning.

Not louder.
Just more ready.

Roshni - expressive yet unsure, strong yet vulnerable.
Wanting love, but also wanting respect.

Together, you showed something rare -
that imperfect people don’t complete each other,
they grow with each other.

And then came the moments.

That spontaneous stop on a hilly road - just for momos.
A tiny detail.
But it’s in details like these that stories start to feel like our own.

And separately - that small tiff during the trip.
Not dramatic. Not loud.
Just two people beginning to care deeply.

Because when someone starts to matter,
the little things start to matter too.

In a time of loud romance and grand gestures, this felt like the warmth of old Aziz Mirza films - like Yes Boss - where love was simple, flawed, and deeply human.

This is a movie with a heart.
It doesn’t shout. It understands.

It teaches that chemistry doesn’t need a kiss.
It needs presence.
It needs care.
It needs “I’m here.”

Somewhere in this city, we are all just trying to become braver versions of ourselves.

And maybe that’s enough.

Loved this story. "

So saw Do deewane Seher mein....

As I said I had not gone with high expectations but with a sincere intention of liking it lol....and I did like it a lot......

Do Deewane Seher Mein is a quietly stirring romantic drama that lingers not because of spectacle, but because of sincerity.

At its heart, it tells the story of two individuals shaped by private insecurities and unspoken childhood wounds, who clash, unintentionally hurt eachother and their own selves as well due to their insecurities and who gradually discover solace in each other’s presence. The film delicately explores themes of self-worth, comparison, and emotional vulnerability, showing how seemingly small moments from the past can leave lasting imprints on the present.

Rather than relying on exaggerated conflicts or sweeping declarations, it allows its characters to evolve with patience and authenticity. What emerges is a love story rooted in empathy, mutual respect, and the profound comfort of being truly seen ... flaws, fears, and all...

It has flaws...Yes, the latter half drifts into familiarity. Certain narrative beats soften into predictability. A twist slightly disrupts the fragile rhythm so carefully built.

But What saves the film is It never lies.It does not manufacture dramatic makeovers but a journey of growth and self acceptance that looked messy, raw yet real...A love that is flawed , complex yet deeply human...

Sidhant and Mrunal were beautiful.....both have performed amazingly... carrying their internal turmoil and insecurities physically and expressing it through the slumped shoulder, trembling fingers...and overall body language & expressions. As Shashank and Roshni, they had such a beautifully fresh, comfortable, easy chemistry... Amazing performance by the supporting actors as well

So yeah with its flaws and stumbles , i really liked this movie...
