Kesar Update for Wednesday (08-31-05)

Abhi tells Amma that he wants to go on a long vacation, as he is very tired. She tells him that she wants to come with him but he tells her that she can't. She asks him as to where is he planning to go. He tells her that it is a place he has never seen before but heard that once someone goes there, he doesn't feel like returning. He tells her that he still has to complete a lot of work before going there.

Rudra asks Kesar whether she was able to tell everyone the truth. She tells him that they all seemed so happy that she couldn't tell them anything. Rudra tells her that they have lost everything and it's all because of him. Kesar tells him not to blame himself. He tells her that he had seen a dream for the first time and thought of doing something on his own but he failed. Kesar feels his hand and realizes that he has fever. She asks him to rest and tells him that she will meet Kadambari and Shalini on the way to the office.

Shalini speaks to Kadambari on the phone and tells her that it is time for them to expose their friendship in front of everyone but Kadambari refuses. She tells Shalini that it is not right time yet. She also tells her to be careful, as Kesar knows that the property papers are with her. Shalini asks her whether Kesar doubted her but Kadambari tells her that she believed her lie. Shalini tells herself that Abhi must've told Kesar about the papers.

Shalini goes to meet Abhi at his house and asks the maid to call him. She then hears footsteps coming from outside and hides behind a wall. Kesar enters the house. When Abhi comes down, he is surprised to see her. He tells her that she shouldn't have come there because if Rudra finds out, he would be really upset. She tells him that she needs his help and tells him everything. He tells her that he knew that Shalini had the papers. She asks him as to why didn't he tell her but he says that Rudra had warned him not to speak to her. She then asks him to help her get the papers from Shalini but before he could answer, he sees Shalini hiding behind the wall. He then asks Kesar as to what makes her think that he would help her after all that she did to him. He tells her that he has always helped everyone but never got anything but hatred in return. He tells her that he is not everyone's puppet and has not been born for sacrificing for others. He tells her that he doesn't want to be Reema's enemy, as she would totally destroy him and his business. Kesar pleads him to help her and her family. She tells him that she is willing to do anything. He tells her that he would help her if she agrees to spend one night with him. Kesar is shocked and is about to slap him but he stops her. She starts crying and leaves from there. Just then, Shalini comes out from where she was hiding. Abhi pretends as if he is surprised to see her. She asks him as to could he go against them for his own pleasures. He tells her that he kept such a condition because he knew that Kesar wouldn't agree to it. Shalini tells him that women like Kesar would do anything for their family. He tells her not to worry, as the papers are with her anyway and he wouldn't be able to do anything. She asks him as to why did he put such a condition in front of Kesar then. He tells her that she wouldn't understand.
