, i feel terrible for khushi and kids and hatred for arnav and his family, especially anjali, why that idiot asked to bring khushi and kids back and arnav did exactly that , again snatched khushi's world which she had woven around kids

but atlast m happy, d way she indirectly slapped him by giving back money and his other belongings including kids

karan and aliesha are so mature and cute , lovely kids

Part 14

Now was the time to face aftermaths of the acts that Arnav had been doing previously. Today no matter what he would disclose the truth, yes it would be a disaster of course, but he wanted to, fiercely this time because of the unknown feeling that had roused in him from the past few days. But he would not let Lavanya suffer the humiliation, it would be him, it was his fault and he would go through the consequences too.

Another worry was the acceptance of the twins by the family. At night when they had came home everything had been fine because it was late and everyone was sleeping but now that it was morning, he had to somehow solve the two issues altogether and thus he decided to take the children down with him. He went to their room but they were nowhere to be found. This tensioned him and he immediately ran downstairs to find them. He searched everywhere, the poolside, kitchen garden lounge and then went to mandir. They were there, he sighed in relief but his lips curled into a smile seeing them bowing in front of Devi Maiyya, entwining their hands and then praying and then they lighted a Diya, together. Then Aleisha put her finger in the sindoor and first put tikka over Karan and then herself. When they turned back after completing the rituals they saw Arnav standing, looking intently at them. They went towards him and to their surprise took them in an embrace. It was unexpected from all three sides but it just happened somehow, maybe a miracle. When they moved apart each of them was silent and Arnav himself pondering upon the act few minutes ago and then he left for his room leaving the two puzzled.

It was nine now and all of the people, excluding Daadi who had gone to mandir, were down in the hall. Arnav introduced the twins to all family members but however they were not greeted pleasantly by all. Manorama was the most ungrateful towards the two and that stopped Payal and Ayush. Lavanya was fine too but not Akshay with the act that they would call Arnav their father. He wanted Arnav all to himself. They were joyfully welcomed by NK, Naani, Akash and Mamaji.

As the breakfast got ready everyone gathered to eat on the dining table but the kids didn't start and asked Arnav to feed them and so they left for the sofa area to eat peacefully. It was like babysitting for Arnav. Never in his entire life had he fed any one and now he was. They were not typical and ate peacefully and after they were finished Arnav just started to get up only to be stopped by Karan, he went towards the dining area and brought food for his father and taking turns the twins fed him. It was again new, completely a new feeling for him and as they finished they said, "Mumma always fed us and us her before and now we'll follow the same with you." Just as they got up Akshay came in furious mood towards Karan and held him by his collar'

"How dare you? What do you think you'll take me away from dad? You will make dad not love me..."

Karan saw him a few seconds in the beginning but then stared down blankly, as if he was disabled and didn't even try to resist. No reaction from Karan was making Arnav go mad, he couldn't understand that was wasn't there any retaliation was wasn't he fighting against something he hadn't done and just then the fight went beyond limits. Akshay started to punch and slap Karan, and Aleisha tried to free him but not much she could do, and to make things worse Karan started crying due to the pain. Never had he faced such ruthlessness, there had been Khushi to protect both of them and to be believed she had never let them get injured or even bruised and being brought up like this how would he not cry on being hit so badly. His tears boiled Arnav's blood and Arnav freed Karan from Akshay and hugged him to soothe but he still sobbed. Seeing this Akshay pulled Arnav from Karan he didn't want to see his father loving someone else, he didn't want his father to fall for someone who had entered the house not maybe even a day ago.

His efforts made him face the worse; Arnav moved from Karan and gave Akshay a tight slap for his frolics and that too in sight of Daadi who just entered the house. It did not take long for Daadi to understand who the other two were; she had already been informed by her son in law, none other than Shyam. She marched to Arnav and demanded explanation from him while Akshay went crying to his mother. Most of the other family members had by that time gathered

Arnav: Akshay was behaving rudely with both of them with no reason and thats why...

Daadi (Cutting Arnav in between): And because of that you slapped Akshay? You slapped your son because of these to illegitimate?

The word illegitimate was too much for Arnav to bear especially for the innocent two who were not to be blamed

Arnav: Akshay is not my son, you get that? How can he be when Lavanya was never my wife? He is Angad's son, Lavanya's real husband, this marriage was never there it was all just a bloody piece of act and if you ever dare to call these two illegitimate then believe me I would not bear you in this house ! He left the hall with the twins and there was Lavanya left to handle the chaos and bring the matter to an end.

In the room Karan had still not came out of the shock and Arnav it seemed didn't care about what he had confronted in the hall but only what mattered to him was his children. He consoled Karan who sniffed and cried in his arms but gradually he became fine.

At night when he went down Anjali informed him that Lavanya had left the house, it was for good; his and Lavanya's. He had dinner with the kids in his room to avoid and humiliation and just when they were going to sleep, today in the same room Karan asked, "Can I talk to Mumma...Please?"
