We all know that we cant spend a day without technology, whether it is car, cell phone or internet etc. It is a essential part of our daily life.

Does it mean that technology indeed has become our new religion?

Will new technologies make us lead happier lives?

It is an inevitable part of my life. I am also sadly overly dependent on several gadgets and internet above all.
Yet, it is not my religion. This is a fabulous post 👏 👏 given a banal definition of religion- a way of life.

However, technology is not way of life, but just a comfort of life.

Depending on what and how much it can be a blessing on one end to pain in the neck on the other end of the spectrum... I think technology looked at in the right perspective can be adequately harnessed....but happiness is not a factor of technology......comfort might be...😊

no technology needed to savor nature in its raw and the vibes come clearer than that cable or dsl connection we have at home .. 😆 😆
plus no pm to divert your attention ( perish the thought even ..... you have to be like tanaji's ghorpaad while clawing deep into the crevices ( no pun please) and climb on ( no pun again please ) but when you surmount and stand atall .......wow what a view .....and at absolutely no technologically jaded cost 😆 😆 😆

what about the rappling harness...😊 and its special clips all are a part of some technology... however simple...😆.. imagine using kapde sukhwayche nylon ropes for rock climbing....😆

I agree. Technology eases our lives, but life was lived even without technology. Although hard to imagine, we can live without all these luxuries. How can we completely tust technology? All our resourses that provide technology might one day, due to our rapid rate of using them up, run out. Then what will happen? No more technology.
Religion, on the other hand, is always there. In good times and bad, it will always remain with you. Technology or no technology God is always there. Some people may not realize that because of being involved in all these luxuries and worldliness. I wouldn't say technology is becoming their religion, but their illusioun. Advancing in technology is a good thing, but forgetting that there is something much greater than this makes it a veil that is hiding the real source of happiness.
