Saif-Katrina starrer to be titled Daniyal Khan?

Would director Kabir Khan's next film written by crime writer Hussain Zaidi which is about retaliation-retribution-redemption after 9/11, be titled Daniyal Khan?

According to sources close to the project the original story by Zaidi is entitled Daniyal Khan and that could well be the film's title too.

The film featuring the very unusual combination of Saif and Katrina (seen in Abbas-Mustan's Race ,though in a completely different space) starts shooting on October 20.

Nadiadwala, we hear is poised to set a new record in film production. His production house has lined up 5 mammoth big-budget releases in 2014.

The first Nadiadwala production to be released in 2014 would be Highway on 21 February,an offbeat road film directed by Imtiaz Ali featuring Randeep Hooda and Alia Bhatt. This would be followed by the screen adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's 2 States on 18 April featuring Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

Next, on 16 May Sajid Nadiadwala unleashes Jackie Shroff's son Tiger in Hero-Panti. The film is directed by Sabir Khan.

On 25 July producer Sajid Nadiadwala's own directorial debut Kick featuring Salman Khan with Jacqueline Fernandes releases.

Finally a date for Kabir Khan's film is being worked out at the end of the year 2014.

Says a source close to Sajid Nadiadwala, "Corporate production houses may be habituated to releasing 4-5 films per year. But 5 films within a year from an independent producer is a unheard of . Not only has Sajid lined up these films for 2014, he also has production plans for 2015 chalked out. Imtiaz Ali's film for Nadiadwala with Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starts shooting in April 2015."

Says Sajid Nadiadwala, "It's a sheer coincidence that five of my films are all coming during the same year. I hope I do my job sincerely and make it a worthwhile viewing experience for the audience."
