Any job which involves a lot of physical activity (police, army) or travelling will see a decline in productivity from the side of the older people. They can still be useful in advisory capacity but active fields will be better without them. In a more general tone jobs which have more to do with brain and experience, e.g., lawyer, doctor, research scientist (mQT), need not have any retirement age.

As for you saying older people have better sense of commitment, I feel sense of commitment and responsibility is instilled completely by the time a person turns 30, you need not wait till 60 for that. Moreover, younger people are usually more self-motivated and hungry for success than older people.

So you totally discount deterioration in thinking capacity... just cos it cant be measured just like do for a 55 year old running cop...Lawyers is ok, but doctors and scientist should not continue too much both can be surreptitiously dangerous... but again i knew of a neuro surgeon in mumbai who at 75 performed 4-6 operations a day... he was a parsi... Now thats what I call commitment...😊 though it scares me... atleast with neuro-surgery

Multiplexing and malling?😆

IF should have an age limit to ban 33+👏 New people need to come and share their views.. 😳
Baby boomers not retiring from academia are serious trouble for us. I support forced retirement in evry field.

hey, if you are actually 33+, then you should REALLY consider me a well-wisher friend. My husband has given me contact for a shrink who helped some of his co-workers with online addiction🤢, and i have no time to call that number either. Hence that comment.
