Ganga is in shock due to what has happened in last few days. It's been a whirlwind. She feels guilty also for what has happened. She may have wanted Jagya but certainly not in this way.

I hope in future she plays a more proactive role and does not get reduced to Gehna 2.

The passivity is perhaps also a ploy by CVs to draw contrasts between Gauri and Ganga - how differently they behaved upon rejection by Singhs. Though it is not comparable since Gauri had grudge of her childhood trauma caused by them too.

They also want to bring out contrast between Sanchi and Ganga- how differently they behave when they are "denied" of something or rejected.

Whether they admit or not they want to bring out contrast between urban and rural too.

The silent suffering or quietly weeping woman is the most ideal prototype. BV has upheld it.
