I don't know, to be honest!đ
I think the fault lies in reading too many reviews beforehand...every reviewer was praising the film so much...that I thought it would earth-shatteringly good...it was not!đ I mean, it was a really well-made film...very sensitive...deep...with excellent performances...but it had something lacking! Some aspects of the film were very inexplicable...like where does Rajeev (Ila's hubby) disappear all of a sudden? How come Fernandez's dabba lands at Rajeev's table and vice-versa? And other many such things! If the film wasn't so critically acclaimed, I wouldn't even have bothered with these small details...but when a film garners so much praise, you as an audience tend to expect perfection...and that is what I found missing in the film!Whereas, I was fine with the ending...I thought that was a clever touch...the audience is left guessing whether Saajan and Ila meet or not...whether she ends up going to Bhutan or not...I thought the ending was the most romantic part of the film!đOne scene that I really loved in the film though is the one where Saajan comes to meet Ila, but goes away without meeting her...and later writes to her that when he saw how beautiful and young she was, he was reminded of his own age and position in life...it was so poignant and beautiful...
Yet to watch many movies I'm eager to watch. From the three or four I watched, I'd pick Inkaar as my favorite.
Why? I always end up loving Sudhir's movies.
What makes the film unforgettable isnât just the grand frames, the haunting music, or the storytelling SLB is known for. Itâs the beating heart...
If you had to pick just one Bollywood movie as your all-time favorite, which one would it be? And what makes it so special for you?
Feel free to discuss any movies you've recently watched. Link to previous thread !
Now that Ranveer 's movie is a BB she wants to be linked to him. I hope he learned his lesson with Rocky aur Rani. She has no shame at all. "...
