OMG...what happened?😲

Such bad reviews for a Ranbir Kapoor film?😕

And seriously, why would an actor of Ranbir's calibre choose to do a film this bad? I mean, I haven't seen it...but after reading the reviews, it looks like a disaster from the word go!

Now I am having serious doubts on whether the first Dabang was directed by Abhinav Kashyap or did Salman really ghost direct it!🤔 Because, whatever the film was, at least, it was hugely entertaining and the first of the this whacky, masala, comic-action genre!

Really shocked after reading such bad reviews for the film...still can't believe that Ranbir could get it wrong like this...that too after giving back to back hits and garnering so much of critical acclaim!😔

Oh, well...I don't think this film flopping or not will affect him much, career wise...but just taken aback by the virulent negative feedback for the film and for Ranbir!

PS: Really unfair to compare RK to the Khans...those guys are legend in the Industry...they have been around for more than 20 years now...and Ranbir is, what 5 years in the Industry? In that aspect, I think Ranbir is a bigger superstar than the Khans, because initially they never produced huge hits or garnered any critical acclaim!

Daar,Baazigar,HAHK,QSQT,MPK,DDLJ...and it goes on.You are just a random Ranbir obsessed fangirl!!!!20 years back, 6 cr weekend was huge.Also the reach wasn"t that much.

But all three Khans had major BB's as their debut movies(Aamir and Salman) or within couple of years(SRK) after entering BW😕.. whereas it took more than 5 years for Ranbir to have a huge hit.

to be honest, I told hooligan, we were having this discussion, that no film will be able to touch 220 cr.. for me its a HUGE AMMOUNT and for me it's impossible to see Jai hO , kick , and Prem touch 220cr as well as DHOOM 3.

CE didn't touch this figure because of Shah Rukh Khan only . A lot of other aspects supported the success. Shahrukh can NEVER touch 220cr on his OWN or with Tabu alongside, or Sana Khan alongside or Jacqueline alongside 😆 . Whereas Salman films are focused on him only, so I don't expect him to touch this figure on his own either 😆😃

imnot a blind salman fan 😳 I know what's possible and whats impossible 😆 I would love to see more films touch 220cr but honestly.. its a lot of money.. and not everyone has the same pot of luck.

I am not a fangirl, first of all...and even if I am, definitely not of Ranbir! (To prove my point, I have just criticized him on the Besharam movie thread!)

Salman had a string of flops between MPK and HAHK and even after that...infact his big time success started only with Wanted! And he has never been critically acclaimed, ever!

Aamir, though always a critics favorite, gave commercial duds after duds, after QSQT...it was only after Raja Hindustani, that he started upping his game!

SRK, I agree has been consistently successful...but critically acclaimed??? Except Swades and Chak De India, I don't think he has ever been a critics favorite!

I wasn't trying to compare Ranbir to the Khans...that is an impossibility...they are too big for that! What I was trying to say was that, Ranbir, though not enjoying the kind of popularity that the Khans enjoy, still manages to come out with huge commerical hits and gets critical acclaim too.

Just to answer this part...OK Salman's biggest grosser ETT...198 cr...Had Katrina the # 1 actress that time...CE had Deepika with less starpower at the time when CE had released...So Salman managed to make 198 cr with a bigger star by his side and 4 weeks clear run...while SRK had a smaller star(before CE Deepika was behind Kat) and managed 226 cr..with a big movie releasing every week..only 6 days of clear run ...but the fact is that you want to make Salman look like a bigger star...based on the last 5 movie...do so...I will go with the whole career and can prove that both SRK and Aamir are bigger than Salman...but that is not the point...The three Khans enjoy equal stardom right now...Aamir's Talaash made only 90 cr...will that make him lesser than the other two Khans...People are going to flock to D3 like there is no tomm...I really don't get the intention of u guys harping on the last 5 movies of salman...he has done movies for the last 25 years...hasn't he???
