I think Ekta is realizing that if Akbar is to have a non cliche character arc, he must change slowly. If falling for Jodha is his cause of changing at once, it might be too unrealistic. He is being more expressive the past few days. His evilness has dwindled down now. We are getting glimpses of a decent human being out of him. Not her best work but good relative to everything else out there on TV.

When I was watching the suicide episode, I mentioned to my sister that it's strange that Jodha is thinking of what Jalal said to her that night when he was intoxicated. She hadn't given any thought to that since it happened. My sis said that's when he declared his hatred and what she means to him but I still disagree that that's what should drive Jodha to jump. There had been so many problems since that night and barring his behavior during MC track, he was really decent towards her. And we know that's true because he himself is now taking back the words he uttered under intoxication: that she is merely a gift of his victory. I was confused by the flashback to that scene but it shows us how far he's come since then. Now if only Jodha could be made aware of this drastic change in her husband.

Jodha wanted to commit suicide thinking that jalal dont respect as his wife rather thinks she is just a winning trophy

and the wedding night encounter and jalals insult to her has made her to non attachment to shehensha

and today jalal for the first time confessed to Manga that she is not a commodity or a baandi which he won in the battle

rather he has married her and accepted her as begum and than brought to harem

so she has full rights on him and kingdom as a begum will have

its his responsibility that to take care of his begum

what now he no more thinks she is winning trophy😳

ya, this was the same Jalal for whom she was his "JEET Ka TOHFA". good to see the change of heart

It was a beautifully shot scene..for the first time we get to see these glimpses of Jalal..but, how sad that he has none else to confide it all in except for MA..

Jalal is slowly evolving towards becoming Akbar.. 😳

true...gradually he is realizing Jodha's worth in his life and Mughal saltanat...it was music to my ears
