Okay, so it seems that a lot of people have a particular mindset about a film before it releases. If they don't want the film to work, they will do whatever it takes to pull it down and have their knives ready before release!
It happened with Tees Maar Khan. It happened with Ra One. It happened with Joker. It happened with Himmatwala. And now, it's happening with Besharam. The point being, people had their knives out ready to destroy and sabotage the film as soon as it releases.

In some cases, the hate was fine. Tees Maar Khan and Joker were known to be bad films for a lot of people, so the hate for them was fine. Himmatwala too. But for a film like Ra One, I think the hate was a bit unwarranted. Shah Rukh Khan put his life, guts, and blood into that film, yet a huge section of people were just waiting for the film to release to destroy the film and completely sabotage it as if the film was the worst thing to ever happen on earth when it really wasn't as bad a film as everyone made it out to be (I liked the film personally).

Now, I see something similar happening to Besharam. People had their knives out waiting to destroy the film as soon as it releases. We know that there was a lot of pre-release negativity for the film, but it doesn't need to get spilled over post-release as well. Everyone keeps saying things like negative word of mouth, etc for the film already whereas the real scenario might actually be different!

I've seen some of the public reaction videos for Besharam (public feedback videos from audience in India) and a lot of people seem to be liking the film! I also read the comment of a distributor from Delhi-UP who said that the film is carrying very good word of mouth publicity.

The main thing I want to point out is about how a lot of people who haven't even seen the film will start writing negative things about the film on social networking sites. It happened with other films...and it seems to be happening again with Besharam!

My point is, people should not start bringing so much negativity towards a film as soon as it's opening day starts. This hate gets huge on social networking sites and then starts carrying onto other people as well who bring upon more negativity, and it always lead to a film under-performing at the box office.

I have not seen Besharam yet, so I can't say if the film is good or bad. But there are a lot of other people who haven't seen the film, yet they are writing negative things about the film/Ranbir without seeing it!

Every film deserves a chance. So let's let Besharam breathe, as long as it's collecting at the box office!

After such a drop, I don't think it has a much of a chance now. The negativity has spread a lot.

He is no exception.

@DAKDAK, ya I read about the drop. I think Abhinav was right though about how negative comments on social networking sites makes people not want to watch the film, because the public feedback to the film seemed to be decent/good yesterday.
@tvdekhna, agreed that actors should be criticized for their stupid films, but it's also stupid when people start spreading negativity without even watching the film or before the film even releases.
