Awesome update..did khushi really love louis or she is considering her love to infactation

Hope she came to know his feeling about her soon.
I don't want louis to come there and ruin everything.

Chapter 11 : Perfect & Imperfect.

Armaan, Payal and I decided to go out for lunch. The hospital food was bad and Arnav was sleeping. After lunch, I decided to tell them about my decision to take Arnav to my home. Armaan was already getting excited, "Yes! That would be great. The hospital is so annoying, not more than three people and all that. At your house we can all have a blast and I'm sure Arnav will heal faster." Payal on the other hand thought for a while, "Khushi, I think it's a bad idea." Khushi didn't understand. "In the hospital they'll be able to take care of him properly. In your house even your mom isn't there and how will you manage everything?" she said. "Payal it's just Arnav, and I think I can do it." Khushi replied. Payal didn't say anything. Khushi's phone rang before she could say anything further. "Must be Arnav, he must have woken up and seen none of us are there," I said. But it wasn't.

"Bonjour Khushi, Comment tes-vous?"(How are you?) he asked. " Je suis tres bien (I am fine) " Khushi said while her two friends stared at her with weird expressions. "Since when does Arnav speak Japanese?" Armaan commented. "Shut up!" Payal said. "It's Louis!" she laughed. "Aah! I missed you." He said, "It's so nice to here your voice." "I miss you to! Louis, we just spoke on the phone yesterday! Anyway, what's up?" She asked. "Nothing, just sitting at home watching TV." "Oh, so that's what work a prince does all day?" she teased. "You have no idea!" He laughed. "Really? Its high time I know then, don't you think?" "I sit at home-- and think about you, that's what I do, all day." he said. Khushi blushed and Armaan laughed. "Did she just blush? She went pink! HAH" Payal slapped him on his arm and asked him to shut up. "Am I on speaker?" Louis asked immediately. "No, he just laughed at a joke Payal cracked." Khushi said glaring at him. "Oh so you're with Arnav now?" he asked. "No, we came to have lunch. Arnav's at the hospital" "I really hope your taking care of yourself and not just Arnav." "Obviously Louis. So how is your family?" she asked. "Everyone's great. My little sister can't wait to meet you!" he said. "Tell her she should come here with you." "Who said I was coming?" "My intuition says you'll be here soon." she said hoping he'd come. But she didn't want to sound desperate. "Oh! So lets see if you're intuition is right. I don't really have plans to come now, though." "But, if you come, get Ramia with you!" "Yes, I will." "Louis, I need to go now. I'll call you later!" "Sure. Bye." He said.

"What the hell Armaan!" She yelled. He laughed. Payal told him the whole story of how Louis and Khushi met and everything. "Oh My God! I feel like I'm watching a fairytale." Armaan said, "It's incredible!" "Shut up! It's normal." "No it's not!" Armaan argued. "I don't get it. How is it that you get everything in life the way you want it? You've been waiting for a prince and he literally comes! You called him a stalker and still he is crazy about you! What the hell man! And me, we mere humans, can't even get a girlfriend!" Armaan whined. "Oh shut up, will you?" Khushi scolded. They entered Arnav's room thinking he would be asleep but this is Arnav Singh Raizada we are talking about. A dozen girls were hovering around him like a swarm of bees. The room suddenly seemed very small for everyone. It was full of chocolates, flowers and cards. "What the..." Khushi muttered under her breathe. She walked towards the horde when she heard that irritating chirpy voice, Claire. Her eyes grew wider. What is she doing here?' Khushi thought. She nudged Payal who seemed as clueless as her. Armaan was just dumbfounded and quickly found his place near Arnav. Khushi didn't know what to say all she knew was that she did not like it. Arnav was ill, so many people all at once, she didn't like it. So many "girls" all at once; she didn't like it. "Girls, I think you should let Arnav rest now," Khushi tried to say. No one even turned. They just ignored her. "Arnav!" She said. No response, they were all so busy talking. The doctor came inside that time. "Please keep it low, this is a hospital and so many people cannot stay inside at one time!" he ordered. Khushi frowned. A few girls said goodbye and left. The doctor left too. "Oh! You're here?" Claire said looking at Khushi. Khushi narrowed her eyes. "So?" "I don't have any problem, I just thought you were in France." Claire said. Khushi just ignored her. "Anyway, Arnav I'll leave now, if you need anything, let me know and take care sweetie!" she said as she left. Arnav half-smiled. "And take care sweetie," Khushi mocked Claire. Arnav laughed.

"Why do you hate her so much?" Arnav asked. "I really don't know, but she sure as hell get's onto my nerves!" Khushi spat. "Why was she here anyway?" "You don't know? Claire and Arnav have been bonding while you were away!" Armaan blurted. "What?" Khushi asked awestruck, "Again?" "Not dating!" Arnav said. "Ohkay, so?" "Just talking." He replied. "For hours." Armaan added. "Shut up man!" Arnav said. "Why is everyone just telling me to shut up today?" Armaan asked. "Because you talk too much!" Arnav said. He could see that Khushi was pissed but he didn't say anything then but very cleverly changed the subject." Arnav sighed. "Not my fault, you'll left me alone and left." He said. Khushi frowned again. Armaan suddenly remembered everything that Payal told him and he started telling Arnav and laughing. He told Arnav about how Louis and Khushi met and their date and everything! Khushi noticed that Arnav wasn't laughing but just looking at her. He was smiling while Armaan was rolling on his chair with laughter. Control Arnav, control, you can do it. Just be happy for her, she looks so happy now. You don't want to hurt her again. You know how she feels and she doesn't love you. That's reality. Accept it. You'll be happier.' Arnav told himself. His heart cried from within and the tears were washed off within. No one knew. No one saw.

Aakash came and joined in with all his questions. Though he wasn't making fun of Khushi but he still had questions. He wanted to know more about his rule and city and his ancestors. "Armaan and Aakash. Please. Relax. When he comes you can ask him only." "He's coming? WHEN?" Arnav asked. "I don't know yet, but soon." She said. "But are you going to marry him?" Armaan asked. "What? Its too early now, don't you think, Armaan?" "Love at first sight, never too early." He replied. "Oh please, its not that cheesy also." "Oh yeah it is. Ask anyone. Meeting a prince and then falling in love, its very cheesy!" Armaan stated. I looked at Aakash and Payal and then to Arnav. They all nodded. "Atleast be a little supportive guys?" I pleaded. "Okay, no one says anything to Khushi!" Payal said taking her side. "Thank you!" She replied.

"So, is he everything you wished for?" Arnav asked. "You won't believe it but he fits the description perfectly. He's just so perfect. The perfect man for me." Khushi replied dreamily. A small silence and then he said "Do you know what my favourite fairytale is?" Arnav asked. I was confused. He never asked such things. Even Armaan and Payal looked amused. "Its Shrek. Because even *imperfect* people have happy endings." He said lowly. He emphasized imperfect, which made me realize that I had been using perfect just too many times. I didn't know why he mentioned that but everyone else in the room agreed with him. It just wasn't like Arnav; he never spoke of these things, about imperfections and stuff. For him, he was the man, what happened in these few days? Khushi was trying to figure all of it out when Aakash, Payal and Armaan all left rather awkwardly after Arnav's last words. Aakash and Payal had some work and they decided to drop Armaan home.

"What's wrong?" Khushi asked sitting down. "What?" he asked. "You are different." "Ofcourse I am, look at me? I literally came back from the dead." He said. "It's not that bad also!" "And you're saying that?" Arnav chuckled. "Arnav why was Claire acting so weird?" I said changing the topic. "She is just looking out for me, she isn't that bad." He said. "Looking out for you? Since when?" "Since you left for Paris." "Why?" "Look, she apologized to me on the phone, I said there was nothing to be sorry about, she wanted to get back together and I didn't. So I told her. So we talked for a while, she is a good listener. We are just friends." He said. "You were upset," Khushi said. "You were upset because I left, weren't you?" Arnav was clearly not in the mood. "Look, how does it matter now? You went, you're back, everything is cool, so just forget it." He said dismissively. "I am sorry," Khushi said. "What?" "I really am. I should have been here for you, I shouldn't have run away!" she replied. "You needed a break, from me, from Dubai, from your life, you deserved a vacation." He replied. "But --"Khushi!" Arnav stopped her, "If you wouldn't have gone, how would you have met that Grimaldi guy?" Arnav pointed out. What could Khushi say to that? Then she remembered her conversation with the doctor, "In a few days you'll be discharged." She said. "I am telling you again, you don't have to!" "Yes, I don't. I don't have to do anything. I want to. So don't say no." Khushi said. Arnav reluctantly agreed.

That night Khushi sat on the sofa in the hospital and wrote :

Dear Diary,

It's been hectic, these last few weeks and so much has changed. Arnav had an accident; his gashes are so deep and scary. I am taking care of him until he gets better. I really have no idea how I'm going to manage it all but I have always felt that no one can take care of Arnav as well as I can. I understand him better than his own parents do. I hope he gets well soon. It hurts to see him in pain.

Arnav has changed. Something happened and he isn't telling me. I will find out. There is something and I'm having a gut feeling it's related to Claire, that girl is a mistake. Arnav shouldn't trust her again, it's wrong. I can't even tell him anything this time. Graduation is just a few days away. I don't think Arnav will be able to make it. It'll be incomplete without him but his health comes first. I will have to force him to stay in bed.

I have also been thinking about Louis. I don't know what to think. Is he my dream man? How much do I even know him? He is great, ofcourse he is but I need to take my time. I can't just jump into this suddenly. I need support from everyone. I hope he comes down to Dubai; it will give us some more time together, to understand each other better. There has to be some way here. I hope he comes soon too. Life is finally coming back on track. Now all I can hope is that it doesn't get messed up again!
