One thing main difference : here ( shekars) she is still an outsider , if she agrees with them she is treated well, the min she says anything that they oppose she is alienated ,questioned, her loyalty qs, she has not been given right to show anger, hurt, disagreement! she is treated as an outsider struggling to fit in, they dont take a min to rub it in her face how fortunate she is to have a second chance,a unmarried qualified man like shiv for her- a gaon wali! if not directly it is made felt indirectly!
