You've pointed out something about the characterisation of Barkha she can't be OTT with tears at losing her daughter when she advised her she did do it from the heart as a typical mother would to forewarn her daughter but not with the typical regret or tears we see many mothers do in other serials because she's playing someone which is sophisticated, many other shows we see them wealthy but here she doesn't let go completely of her feelings always trying to be in control.

A hypocrite she is thru and thru! Plus, how can she behave with some civility towards her SIL but treat her DIL so badly? I mean they look down on Meera too but at least they acknowledge her to some extent. Is it just because their marriage status everyone knows about so they have no choice and with LaKhil they don't have to do this? So does that mean once LaKhil marriage comes to light in front of all to see will she at least acknowledge Laajo in public (and unfortunately still ridicule her like they all do to Meera in front of family?)
