@Vasu its so true with Archana.She is the biggest drama queen there is!When Soham started lashing out her only concern was what will Manav say?How will Manav feel??Also even when Soham hit Sachin the attention should be on finding Soham and helping Sachin but the centre of attention has to be around Archana.All she was harping was that she was at fault and begging Manav to forgive her and most likely hoping that Manav would console her.A situation primarily based on Soham and his lashing out was made about Archana taking the wrong decision.

Soham was given such a harsh treatment from the Ds ever since he stepped into their lives.Manav wanted to change his son but with tough love.Like really,you are giving a boy who needs love and care the route to redemption by showing him hate and disdain??

Soham is responsible for his actions but who is responsible for Gunda Vishnu Lala??

Even Sachin wasn't any saint too when he publicly not once but many times humiliated Soham and Soham has to take it all in...when he didn't then Manav would be ready to throw him out.

We see a very lovable Soham turn into this obsessive maniac out for what he thinks is his.This change wasn't sprung out of nowhere.Everything that happened to him,every treatment he got and endured,every harsh word he heard,every humiliation he faced,every time someone tried to make him the ideal son instead of a human being,every time his actions were ridiculed,the taunts he heard,the Ds trying to fix his image rather than his heart and mind have all culminated into this destructive volcano eruption that was dormant.

Its so easy for them to disown him for his actions because they never raised him but who is responsible for screwing up his life???His actions is a product of bad upbringing.U cant push what a child should be learning down someone's life in just a few months.Its a slow and steady but continuous process.Soham is hostile and violent but all he wants is love.His path and actions are wrong and he needs to be punished but has anyone ever in the D household ask themselves why did Soham did what he did??No they all began singing the bad parvarish theme song.

Vasu and Amy...not to play devil's advocate ...but what would you have the Dehmukhs do? When it became such that lives were in jeopardy and Soham was not listening to reason anymore ...what should have been done.

I see that you both feel that the problem started way before this ...still ...😕

I am not taking Soham's side Su but i just want to say that the Deshmukhs arent innocent and clen themsleves.

One thing that Archana said that if she can birth to someone then she can kill him.Even Manav went ahead and did Soham's last rites.Why are they playing Gods??? Leave the work in the hands of the law.

Even Sulo did Varsha's last rights what happen now??

I am angry at Soham for what he is doing but the rest of them are acting like they are just some victims in all of this.

Just because they gave birth to him doesnt give them that right to take it.Why play Gods when they cant even be normal human beings??

I am pissed at Soham because i had liked him from the beginning.

I am pissed at the Ds because of their melodrama and balonies.

I am pissed at the Cvs for making me love Soham but now making me hate him.

I am pissed that Arvi scenes are limited to this track.😡

I don't know if I can give you a straight answer to this. This is the worst nightmare for any parent/mom to face.

But let me cite a real-life incident that Janhvi had mentioned once. Vaguely remember the details but it is about one of her friend's daughter becoming pregnant and unwedded mom in her teens. It was such a loss of face for her parents, especially amidst their Indian friends but against the wishes of friends and family, the mom persisted in keeping the girl in the house, made her go to the university, looked after the baby when the teenage mom stepped into the real world. Now the girl is happily married to someone she met in the university and is taking a good care of her child as well. Per Janhvi's friend, if the girl had been thrown out of the house, her life would have been in a far worse shape. I am sure there would have been many moments of acrimony between the two, many times would the mom felt that the daughter was ungrateful and her sacrifices were not acknowledged but it all worked out in the end.

Not all of us , me included, have the moral and mental strength to go through such incidents in our lives. But the moral of the story is that in this age, there are lot of distractions for our kids and unfortunately if they succumb to any of the temptations, disowning them and/or absolving ourselves from any responsibilities is not the only solution.

In Soham's case, like Pallavi/Amy and others who had said it before me, it wasn't a turning of switch that made him react like that. Lot of comments have been written before me on how he was treated in D chawl or what better things could have happened to Soham if both his parents prioritised his well-being over other things. Even when he knows that Gauri's hand was asked for Sachin and not himself, he cries on Purvi's shoulder and tells her that Sachin is a far better choice for Gauri than him and why will she marry an uneducated guy like him? So what made that guy go from there to such a complete turn-around? The only attempt by Archana to talk to Soham was when he came home drunk, the rest of the times she showed him a cold shoulder. When Gauri's parents wanted to nullify the engagement, why didn't Archana go with it? It wasn't as if Gauri and Sachin were madly in love or any other compulsion. I know it is the most difficult time for Archana but what has Archana done to turn Soham around?

The sad thing that the show is portraying is that there is not much chance for a guy who did not live a honest life. And that even after receiving a very decent family, a loving mother, a trusting sister, the guy not only falls back to his criminal ways but relishes in his acts. The responsibility lies everywhere and along with the anger, the family should feel remorse for how their part in this situation.

everyone calls Soham gunda. When Purvi was kidnapped, Ovi wanted Kidnappers to kill Purvi and tried to stop Manav from rescue. is that not killing? Ovi tried to kill her own baby in her womb. is it not killing? only because soham beat Sachin in front of everyones eyes he is considered gunda.

Archu scolded Purvi privately infront of Manav and DK. it is okay. Archu has the right to scold her daughter. but insulting her infront of Gauri and her family is stupid act. Gauri going one step further and talks low about Soham. what she know about Soham and his childhood miseries? Even Teju and Ovi are silent, why should Gauri talk like she is the head of the family.

In this track Archu character is totally damaged. She acts like hysterical lady. she lost her ability of patience. why she is so much obsessed with Sachin as if he is the one child she has in this world.

@Bold Red any one remember this. People blame too much Soham & also Purvi action. But no one blame ovi. Reason she is queen of D clan.🥱
