Can Ranveer Singh play Guddu & Charlie in Kaminey

This is not another thread, there is reason for making this thread. I heard from Ranveer Singh in a interview(which I don't remember when, but he said it ) that he was asked one role he would like play from a previous BW film. His answer was Shahid characters(Guddu & Charlie ) in Kaminey.

Some scenes of Shahid Kapoor in Kaminey, Great performance👏. He nailed both characters as both having speech impediment, one stutters and other lisp

when a movie becomes hit n the characters kinda iconic, it becomes difficult for the audience to imagine anyone else in that role. as far acting is concerned, for me, shahid n ranveer are on the same level. so ranveer could have done it, but looks wise, shahid suited more especially to the character of guddu 😛

I think Ranveer could've done it easily. He might not be as appealing as Shahid but he can surely match up to him in terms of acting😃

Yes he can do it. He played the restrained Varun in Lootera , that's the seedha-saadha Guddu version right there. He has played or is playing the rowdy/bad guy quite well, BBB/Ram Leela/Gundey. So yes he can do Kaminey.

But having said that, I loved Shahid's roles in Kaminey. It's one of the most sincere performances by a commercial BW actor. He did perfect justice to both and I wouldn't want anyone else playing it.

The charlie one would have been pretty easy for him

But I dont think he could have played Guddu properly

He said in kwk season three. ..
I'm pretty sure he would nail it...though he has done less movies but he has already done a variety of roles...

One of the very few actors of today..who can play those roles easily is Ranveer in my opinion..Other than him..I think Ranbir or Arjun will be safe bets..😊

Ranveer could but I doubt he'd be able to play the roles as well as Shahid. Both of them are brilliant actors but Shahid's performance in Kaminey was one of the best performances by a lead actor. I honestly wish he got the Best Actor award instead of Big B...
