It seems Ranbir Kapoor has once again courted controversy. On a promotional tour in Raipur, the actor said, "'Mahatma Gandhi dil se besharam the."


The actor was in the city to promote his upcoming film Besharam. When journalists asked him why the film was releasing on October 2 that also marks the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the actor said, "Yes October 2 is a special day for all of us, it is a national holiday marking Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary and we are utilising the occasion."

Answering to another question the actor went ahead and said "Mahatma Gandhi dil se ekdum besharam the".
