Try sab kuch karna chaihe

My point was its as though people expect Ranbir to be shielded from any criticism this statement spurs on. When Deepika makes similar comments, it incites criticism and rightfully so, even as someone who likes DP, I feel annoyance as do most fans. The award speech case was different as I think she mentioned Ayan too, otherwise her choosing to mention Ranbir people generally object to.

Its not about selective viewing, those who've bashed Ranbir were not only Deepika fans, just as those who bash DP are not all Kat fans/closet Kat fans. In fact what's selective viewing is attributing the blame on DP fans for Kat bashing (when most do it) and vice versa.

Ranbir being painted as someone who's protecting DP from embarrassment is what amused me. Basically they both appear stupid/opportunistic (whichever way you look at it) when the other seeps into their interviews, creating excuses for just one of them is where the bias comes in.
