😆That was Silsila of Indian television. Renuka and Sachin knew each other but get married to different people then they meet and continue meeting. That is what the whole show was based on but the treatment was mature and intense. Finally they decide to go back to their spouses because they realize that they can't live without their loving spouse and what they have between them is just 'purani yaadein' which they can't let go. Once they succeeded in that everything worked well.

The serial was "SAILAAB" in which Renuka acted with Sachin Khedekar. The serial was 100 times better than all these saas-bahu. The serial - almost every epsiode had a scene where the characters had a cup of tea. Prajakti Deshmukh("gayatri" in the serial) was another actress which I can't forget. I don't know if I am wrong, but to say it correctly -"only such serials and actors redefine the art of acting everytime). Such serials really had simplicity- simple costumes, simple make up and very good messages. there was no loud music and no high make up like that of Ekta's serials.

I have seen Prajakti Deshmukh in Thoda hai thode ki zaroorat hai. Did she stop acting? She was a natural too. I think she was a regular in all Ravi Rai serials.

Of late even I haven't seen Prajakto Deshmukh in any serial.
