Di.. even today some muslim countries don't allow people to openly practice their religion and this is 16th century we are talking about...
Plus, many courtiers were against the idea of Akbar marrying a hindu and letting her practice her religion..
Jodha was at fault for playing in the garden and this is why imo.. she apologized as well
