Most Butchered Chtr? Redeemable vs. Non R

KS since the divorce alimony fiasco has been a series of butchering of characters. Very few people have escaped.

Masi: In a lot of ways she has only been able to be a massi and not a mother. She has been butchered to gain sympathy for JW's plight. This was a gross betrayal of the character which has been so beautifully potrayed. She was shown to stand by helpless while her sons feelings were decimated by his wife piece by piece and she did nothing (Bani was young and had gotten a great blow and might not have been thinking straight but Massi was older and wiser and could have guided Bani better in the divorce phase). She is partly responsible for JW's isolation that lead to the ONS. Post reveal of the ONS she became a monster. A son who has always respected her and been a good person, one mistake and she performed his shraddh. I respect the fact that she supported bani. But she could have just thrown JW out and also talked to him to understand what was going on. She was privy to the convo \between Jai and Pia where he slapped her and threw her out. Raashi when she was privy to such a convo realized that there was more to the truth. Billo turned a blind eye.

Pia: I feel this character has been butchered the most to fight the backlash from the ONS disaster. In the beginning she was a fun loving, mistake prone sellfish character who ultimately loved her sister. All through we saw her defending her sisters and standing up for them. Pia bashing JW after Bani dissapeared was classic. They made her into this viscous thing that is beyond recognition.

JW: Has been reduced from a lion king to a wimp who is forever crying and sad and completely not in control of his life. They have made him the victim of rape by his SIL who he impregnated while out of his senses. Most members of his family who used to cower before him are wiping their feet on him. He has been reduced to begging for love from his family. They have made him confused and no able to take charge.

Bani: She was a character that touched our hearts due to her kindness and selfless love that she showered on JW post Pia's marriage and till the reveal of the PR raaz. After that they made her someone we could not recognize. Banigiri started and she became the resident jasoos. She who understood JW's loneliness the most decided the best she could do for him was preseve his wealth while she and the baby went far away. He was willing to give her a divorce but she needed him to hate her so she butchered him. ONS aftermath was devastating for her. No woman should have to go through that. But once she found out the truth, I don't think its feasabile for her to run to his arms but she should not be cold, mean and indifferent to him. For god sake you sister raped him and has made his life miserable. You have first hand experienced the vicousness of your sister. I don't hold her responsible for Pia's action but I don't think she should hold JW responsible either.

Jigz: I feel the butchering of this character has been more actor driven. With Ashwini gone this character has lost it's sheen. Also Jigz always loved her brother but what they showed like her blackmailing him and stuff just made this character with shades of gray completely black. JB is a good actor just does not suit the role. I hope they change the initial coneptualization of the character (the nautanki that jigz was) to a more nornal vamp and I think JB will do a cridible job

Tarun: Another good character flushed down the toilet. How did he go from best friend who would do anything for JW to what they are showing now. This J-B-T track could have been fantastic. Tarun trying to play mediator between the 2 lovebirds while becoming Bani's friend a and confidant and ultimately falling in love with Bani. It could have been beautifully and subtly shown instead a ham was made of it. Such a waste of a great talent like PS.

Rano, Adi and Dadi I feel escaped the butcheirng to a certain extant. Sahil is a non-entity and will remain so. He has no acting chops and looks only good as the dumb pillar of WM. Ranveer was a great negative character which got butchered by this 360 degree change. Ranveer being the mastermind would atleast be credible.

All in all the creatives have butchered almost all the characters.

Pia could have been a brilliant grey character. Massi could have been potrayed as the saas who is mother to both her bahu and son. Well JW and BW could have been done better in so many different ways that I am absolutely stumped at the non-creativity of the serial maker.

Who do you guys think is still capable of redemption and how?

So true, every character has been butchered so badly in the name of creativity that can they really be redeemed??? Sahil (was such a loser that really does not matter at all), Jigs, Massi, Rano, Raashi (from sane to insane, more like suffereing from brain cancer then blood), Adi, Pushkar (though he has been redeemed big time by what hes doing to Pia😡 and his helping out Ranveer in his time of need😃), Ranveer (from a bhramachari to a weping willow and maybe a bigamist too😆)

As you said from a mother figure , masssi was butchered to gain sympathy for Jai and has not been redeemed completely at all. They so messed up her character, when they hada chance of redeeming her character completely by her asking for Jais forgiveness for her losing trust in him, carrying out his sharad they did not do so at all, and what did they sjhow us instead was as we all know not in the least bit satisfying and up to mark at all.

In the same way Bani and Jais character have also been butchered, from what they were to what they have become now, a mer clone of their previous glorious self.

Banis character after the revelation is treated so shabbyly while they are building up Jais character again thats its heart breaking to watch.😭

The creatives are showing us Jais thoughts etc, but Banis not at all, the question is why not, as she must have so many questions and feelings, emotions that must be running through her mind.

An Pia 😡, what can one say about her. Never liked her from the start but she was never so annoying and disgusting😡 like she is now, that even if the creatives try to redeem her it will never be enough at all to get her in the good books of the viewers at all.She is dead that wise, so better to keep her in the mode of a full blown Vamp and negative. And with her acting skill one cant expect to much too.

The only character who hasn't been butchered is Dadi and thank god for that.😆

I guess all the characters have been butchered very abdly which led to teh serial being butchered like a speedy boomerang. Yes, Pia's been the worst so far and they have made her non-redeemable too.

Krishna I have been most dissapointed in how they have handled the situation post reveal. It's been one relentless party after the other. KS for some reason never follows through to the cruicial point where we would get the most emotions. Like for example when Bani lost baby we saw no interaction betwwen JB. We saw more between PP after the abortion. A massi Jai interaction would have been so powerful, both are brilliant actors and could have brought so much pathos to the scene. Another lost golden opportunity

I used to love Bani's character. Now I dont even recognize it. A beautifully etched and performed character has been left as a shadow of its former self. More than anything I want this character redeeemed. Afterall she is my munna's fave toy 😉

I cannot understand why the creatives need to butcher one character to bring out the other one in full glory. Cannot believe that once we never got enough of Massi because of JB and now cannot stand her,similar for Raashi.

Pri that is the big question. The creatives have a poor track record. I hope they don't butcher Bani's character further to prop JW like both Pri/Sang fear. For JB to work we need both of them to be strong.
