I had lost interest in this show and it's illogical tracks at times, but just caught this episode and I must say, it captured the imagination.
The scene where Amita is about to be sedated for the abortion , when she closes her eyes and sees the 'future' with her daughter, and instinctively springs up and refuses to abort her child, suddenly made me so emotional that I had tears (and was a bit embarrassed of being caught with teary eyes 😊 ) . Probably has something to do with me being a new mom, I could completely identify with it. One can say it is foolish and may misguide viewers in similar situations, but the very basic instinct of a woman to give birth to her child even if it means risking her own life is undeniably true.Granted, it is just a typical filmy scene which is not being done for the first time, granted that Amita's decision is not practical in real life , and yet, at a very primal level, there was something very powerful about that scene. Hats off to the actors and the scene writers !
