Tabu a bit scared said... Prakash is standing there...

Arnav stiffened and he asked.. Has he ever...

Tabu...No, he wouldn't dare, Dai ji will kill him, it's just that he tries to talk to me and follow me...it irritates me...

Arnav...So Tabu who wants to be called Khushi is scared of him?

Tabu stood straight...I'm not scared of anyone...

Tabu said bye and went inside and suddenly she felt empty, as if something was missing. She shrugged it off and went to Daiji who was busy cooking... Tabu started helping her. Cause of the wedding, all lunches and dinners were held at Avni's house...and everyone joined in to help...

Tabu was working happily and thinking, Doc will be there. I'll get to see him again. I hope I can talk to him, it feels so good to talk to him and to listen to him...she was blushing and Daiji saw her smile and asked... Are you ok, Tabu?

Tabu... Yes I'm fine, why?

Daiji shaking her head... Just asking my dear. Then she added... Tabu, if something troubles you or you remember anything, you will tell me, right?

Tabu looked at and said... Yes of course, who else will I tell?

Daiji... Your new friend...the doctor?

Tabu blushed and said... Ya, I'm comfortable talking to him, but he's not going to be around forever, he will leave soon after the wedding... Suddenly Tabu realized what she had just said. It hurt and made her sad... He would go away...why would he stay here...for whom will he stay here... His life is in the city... And my life? It's blank... And why would he stay behind for me... Daiji was watching Tabus face...the smile had disappeared and her face hung down... Daiji knew exactly what she was thinking... She sighed and thought...maybe it's best Arnav takes her with him...they all must sit and talk about it...

Raizada house...

Anjali was troubled, where was Chotey? She hadn't spoken to him in two days. Aman had been helpful but the files were incomplete... She had spoken to mami ji, they were enjoying the wedding but she was very discreet about it and had hurriedly shut the phone.,,saying I'm tooo BUZZY... Well that was mamiji...

Shyam was still after the money... Anjali didnt know who to talk to about him... Then it clicked her... How about if she talks to Aman ji... Maybe he can advise... She sighed...

Village... Lunch Time...

All of Nandani's friends and relatives had gathered for lunch... Tabu was hiding in the kitchen... She didnt want to see or talk to the city doctor... She was upset...

Nandani ji came and handed her a tray full of flowers and asked her to give it to the people decorating the stage and said... What are you doing here? Go out and eat with everyone...

Tabu nodded and went out... Dai ji was eating with Nani ji and Mami ji and they called her and Naniji touched her face with love and asked...How are you my dear?

Tabu a bit hesitantly... Im fine and you?

Naniji... im fine...but I miss having a cup of tea made by you...

Tabu blushed...I'll make it as soon as I can...

Naniji..NO, my dear, not now..make it in the evening.. And why arent you eating?

Mamiji... Dont tell me you are dieting...

Tabu.. Ill eat soon and ran towards the stage...

She walked fast, didnt want to see him, she was nearing the stage when she banged into something and the tray flew from her hands, scattering her flowers everywhere and she fell... Well that something was actually the someone she was trying to avoid...

Arnav had been searching for her, but in vain.. She was to be found no where... He somehow had a feeling that she was avoiding him... He thought.. Why would she be avoiding me...

Is she remembering something...Did I trigger something in her brain... He was standing by the wall thinking and he saw her walking fast towards the stage... Eyes down,.. Well he knew his khushi more than anyone... He had just stepped in her way and now she was in his arms...

Tabu had closed her eyes as she fell... But she didnt fall.. Strong arms had caught her just in time and she opened her eyes and her breath got caught in her throat... Those eyes... They had a habit of mesmerizing her... Both were lost in each others eyes... Raba wey...aaa ... Raba wey... Ho... Rabaa wey... The sound of coughing bought them back to reality and Tabu saw all the flowers had scattered on the floor, so she sat down to gather them. Arnav also sat beside her and started to help her...

Arnav... So, you are avoiding me?

Tabu looked at him and said... Why would I do that?

Arnav... I don't know, you tell me..

Tabu... I'm not avoiding you, why should I avoid you? Who are you to me... Then she shut up... She looked at him and saw her words had hurt him, so she said... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound rude...

Arnav... But you were rude, now pay the price... Have lunch with me.

Tabu had no choice, she nodded, Arnav took the tray from her and gave it to the decorators and said... Feed me...

Tabu walked towards the table and picked a plate, it was made of leaves... She filled it with food and handed it to him...

Arnav.. Thanks, but where is your plate?

Tabu... I'm not hungry...

Arnav with concern.. Are you feeling alright..

Tabu was tired of answering this question and said... I'm fine.. Just not hungry... She was hungry, but she had just lost her appetite...

Arnav... No, you are hungry and you just said you will eat with me, so I'm not eating alone. You will eat with me, or I also wont eat...

Tabu gave him a funny look and filled one plate for herself...

And they both walked to their tree, sat in the shade and started eating in silence...

Raizada House...

Whole night Anjali had tossed and turned in her bed...She could hardly sleep a wink...She was very upset... Shyam had not returned to bed last night... She really needed to talk to someone...But who??? Arnav was already worried, Akash was busy handling the business alone...She didnt want to trouble any of them...Then she remembered Aman...She thought...Ya, Ill go to the office and talk to him...and she went to the office...

Back in the village...

Nani ji was standing beside Dai ji and mami ji and they all were watching the two...said... They both are meant to be together... Then she looked at Dai ji and said... We will be leaving soon and...

Dai ji touched Nanijis hand and said... After lunch let us all go to Sarpan Ji's office and discuss this there...

Under the tree...Tabu...Your Naniji is a nice person...

Aranv...Unlike me...

Tabu looked at him and said...I didnt say that...

Arnav..And what about my mami ji?

Tabu smiled and told him about her first meeting with her. Telling him how Mamiji had called her a ghost...well she looks like one... He threw his head back and laughed... Thats my Mamiji...shes funny but sweet...

Tabu turned at looked at him...thinking...his voice was so husky and deep...sending shivers down her back...Suddenly she straighten up and said to herself..Tabu what are you thinking... You have to avoid him...And she continued eating in silence...

Arnav...So whats your favorite food?

Tabu... thought about it for a few seconds and said...I dont know...

Arnav just looked at her...think...have u had a jalebee in the last two months??? He sighed and continued eating...

After finishing her food she ran back to the kitchen...Her hiding place...She wasnt aware that Arnav and the rest were on their way to Sarpan ji's office to decide her fate...

Before leaving Dai ji had come to Tabu and had told her, that she was going to get some work done and she was to stay at Nandani's house till she was back... She was not to go home alone...

Tabu stayed at Nandani ji's house and helped Avni...tonight was the haldi night... And Tabu helped as much as she could...Then she felt tired and wanted to stretch her back...So she walked out of the house and started walking towards her house...As she was near the door, she felt someone following her...She stiffened, stopped and turned...
