So off he went to her rooms using her poem as an excuse.

Even Jodha asks him why he has come to meet her "Kyunki naa samajh to Aap nahin hain Shahenshaah" with mild amusement on her face & in her tone.

Jalal understands this shudh Hindi better than the entire Mughal clan because he was a toddler when his family took refuge at the Umarkot palace & he presumably,must've had the Umarkot royal toddlers as play companions and habits, as with language heard or spoken as a toddler, is hard to forget. Which also explains his ease with the language in his disguise at Amer.

It was just an excuse. He was very happy that she was happy for him & used the poem as an excuse to convey that to her. And he understands every single word of shudh Hindi spoken by Jodha or any other Rajput. 😊

Good point but actually he understood the poem but wanted to hear the meaning from Jodha herself, he wanted her to explain it to him as he was very impressed.
