How Jalal understands Jodha

One question has been constantly striking in my mind from so many days. When ruqaiya got pregnant, jodha wrote a poem, meaning of which was not understood by jalal because it was in pure hindi. So he went to jodha for getting its meaning. Eventhough the poem was not very tricky, jalal was unable to understand it. Now my question is that how can then jalal understand jodha's lecture in such a complicated hindi? In precap also lectures are delivered in shuddh hindi and jalal is understanding them. How is this possible?

Yes you point out a good detail that has not been continuous. He understood the song she sang when they first got married and seems to understand everything else do why not understand the poem. Yup its not consistent.

yea i don't understand tht becuz jodha only speaks pure hindi n jalal speaks only urdu how the heck is it possible tht jalal understands all the curses she hurls at him lol 😆 but srsly how does he understand nd he's illiterate too?😕 wierd stuff man!

jalal has so much work to do i guess ... a very big sultanate to run n he is still learning..

he actually understood the poem

before asking the meaning he reads the complete poem to jodha, he wanted to know her point of view of the poem she had written it.

😆..the same question comes to my mind often when i see those long shudh hindi lectures coming from jodha..akbar seems to be lost at times..i guess he has got used to the word ghrina and then figures the rest out, as he knows that all the lectures have the same basic recipe of ghrina! the letter written to ruq did not have the word ghrina therefore he could not understand🤔!

He understood the Poem, He went for the meaning. Not the literal meaning, But what was Jodha's view behind it. He couldn't read or write but he could listen and speak.

Oh God of course Jalal understood that poem!! 😆 He just needed a reason to express his happiness at Jodha's alag pan "Humaare nikaah pe to Apni khushi jaaiz nahin ki, par Humaare Waaris ki khushi mein shaahari likh di😊"; her sweetness towards his un-born child. So off he went to her rooms using her poem as an excuse.
