Customs woes for Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor, who was returning from the US late Tuesday night, reportedly got into trouble with the custom officials at the international airport in Mumbai. The actor was walking out through the Green Channel when the officials stopped him to check his baggage, says a source.
After the inspection, he was asked to pay 1.70 lakh " 1 lakh as duty for some goods he'd bought and 70,000 as fine for trying to evade customs. Since Ranbir didn't have the required amount with him then, he was not allowed to take his baggage home with him.
And his woes didn't end there. Later, even after he settled his dues, it apparently took a little longer for Ranbir's luggage to reach his home as his staff forgot to carry a letter authorising them to collect the same. Only after they returned with the letter, did the custom officials release the actor's luggage.
We texted Ranbir but he didn't respond till the time of going to press.
