So after reading all the spoilers saying that Rubel will go into coma I thought about it for awhile and an it occured to me that this is a soap opera that needs to keep its TRPs high so that is why cvs put Rubel in a coma because when he comes out of the coma which he eventually will, he will be the "old mean Rubal again" because if he is the transformed Rubel than everyone is nice and live happily ever after so that is not going to be happening anytime soon.
I do think that future storylines will involve Rubel being the same old Rubel because he does not remember what happened before his Coma and it will probably be a storyline trying to make Rubel remember or getting used to the "old" Rubel once again. But I think this will happen only after the Manorama/Manek storyline ends😃
