Unidentified pain , unrealized and unaccepted feelings always lead to irrational behaviour and frustration vents. People try to quell the hurt they are feeling by hurting everyone , by deciding everyone's mood as per their mood. Trying desperately to get a first aid box for the CUT that they are feeling. Simply because they know they are hurting very badly - but WHY? They have no idea.
Jodha is in disguised depression ever since Jalaal told Jodha that he is showing her the 'Khulaa' way. The "aapne shringaar nahiin kiyaa" bit was to show how self-alienated Jodha is becoming because of Jalaal and his hold pre-occupying his mind. Whatever curse words and 5-page dialogue essay that Jodha gave Jalaal today is not because she is being the typical K heroine. Its because she is deeply hurt and frustrated with the thought that Jalaal is 'tyaagofying' her. She is attached to Jalaal in a peculiar manner and something inside her is mourning the loss of this attachment and the probable loss of this Shauhar. Jodha cannot identify this because she is not in sync with her changing heart or how much importance she is attaching to this marriage beyond the rituals. She can only feel the pain and its frustrating her. So, she pours all the venom on Jalaal. Simply because she cannot tell him that she does not want to leave him.
As for Jalaal, he was in the hopes that Jodha will choose him and not 'Khulaa' and that is why he gave her the option of staying back as his wife. But Jodha's outburst today will only strengthen his misconception that Jodha hates him. He cannot see the pain and angst behind her arrows because he himself has no realization that Jodha is seeping into his heart. Its like walled psychology versus walled psychology and that means no outcome.
Its actually quite laughable, you know. Two passionate pre-conditioned stubborn people are falling hard for each-other and its hurts so much that it rolls out in the form of tears and barbed words.
So, dear Jodha and dear Jalaal, the moment someone gets the power to hurt you and alienate you from yourself. understand... that emotions are taking over the rein which you thought was in your hands.
Don't get angry on JJ's antics. They are repercussions of a beating heart and an opaque mind which often lead to CHAOS!
