Virman Collab/SS - Hum Jo Chalne Lage
Prologue
Just a jump, I consoled myself. I was running out of breath and suddenly jumped to get inside the train which had already started. A hero-ish entry was all that I had planned but rather than hero-ish, it was zero-ish. I fell down inside the train with a thud where the passengers looked at me. I glared at a small kid who was laughing at what had happened. Is that what parents teach their children these days?
I walked down to the end, trying to find my seat. After a lot of checking, I finally found my seat and settled myself. The next moment, I was fast asleep.
"No ways! It's my seat. Just get out of here." I could hear a girl shout. Opening my eyes, I looked in front of me, to see a young woman of about my age quarrelling with an unknown man. Apparently, the train had stopped at some station and I realized that I had been asleep for not more than half an hour.
"Oh ho Madam ji! What is the problem? You can sit somewhere else," replied the stranger cooly.
"Sit somewhere else? That's outrageous! I didn't get on this train to sit where I'm not supposed to," retorted the lady.
"Ahem! Can you please resume your fight somewhere else? I'm trying to sleep here," I said and the girl turned towards me, pointing a finger.
"Care to shut up? When two people talk, others shouldn't interrupt."
I tried to make the man understand to sit somewhere else as the girl was not at all understanding. He agreed and sat down somewhere else. Finally, I settled myself once again, putting on my earphones. I could have stayed like that for hours but unfortunately the girl pulled out my earphones.
"Wha... what do you think you are doing?" I said angrily.
"Oh puh-lease! I don't think that there's any reason to be rude. I just wanted to say that I'm bored," she replied. I made an irritated sound and replied, "So, what can I do about that?"
"Nothing but I think an introduction would do," she said.
"Wasn't that already enough?" I replied referring to the incident.
"That wasn't an introduction. Even if you think so, then I think we should start again. Hi! I'm Maanvi," she said bringing her hand forward. I was a bit taken aback and shook her hand, slowly but reluctantly. "And I'm Virat."
