i just hate the way the showed it. honestly, if they had just shown this to be a mutual decision asya take together to help nikhaat, i would be fine with it. but they way they showed it, zoya's opinion wasn't even asked.
but at the same time, you cant just blame asad, like no one asked for zoya's opinion, or humera's opinion for that matter. in fact, i feel humera is even more innocent. zoya made a huge mistake and married the wrong person and right now was the time for her to speak up. she is a person, she should have told everyone she wants a divorce and not listened to what everyone has to say. i mean, we all want asad to choose zoya over nikhaat, but why isn't zoya choosing herself over asad?
i mean if you think about it. right now, asad picked nikhaat over zoya. If asad said no, he would be choosing zoya over his sister. if zoya told everyone to stfu she would be choosing herself over asad. no matter how this thing played out, asya would lose.
ps how is asad more selfish than the idiot who came up with this plan aka ayaan "can i borrow your wife or else you are not our brother" khan?
