"Her role's been written with a lot of wit. Plus, it's something an actor of her calibre would love to do because usually she wont get a full length role like this. People keep talking about real life couples not working onscreen together, but the way we have written the script takes all that into consideration. It's not a typical offsceen couple being paired together"

I dont think so.
She's shot for quite a few scenes. I think her role in this might be longer than just a guest appearance. Who puts in so much script for a guest appearance? 😆

I think it's more an extended appearance. But as long as it's something new and different, I dont care how long it is.

Not excited. Kareena's at a phase where she needs to make smart choices; and utilize her potential to the maximum. Is it me or is she not even considered any more for the roles other actors are considered for? It seems like all of the major projects are being announced but I find it weird she's not even mentioned (Apart from Badtameez DIl and Shuddhi of course, but they were announced way before...ages back).

She just turned down Begum Samru. Zoya's she turned down a few months ago, as it clashed with Shuddhi.

I think the problem is, Johar's asked for her bulk dates.

Before, she would juggle 2-4 films and different schedules.

I really do enjoy DK Krishna's work though.

Have you seen Shor in the City? I've heard great things about it.

The Saif-Kareena Jodi doesn't work on-screen...hopefully..HAPPY ENDINGS won't turn into SAD ENDINGS...

bullshit. she didn't have date problems with zoya's next. the min she found out ranbir is not playing sibbling she backed out.

FACT: she would have given her right arm to do a movie with zoya and ranbir.

I've not seen Shor In the City, but I've heard great things as well. That doesn't matter to me though because Kareena still remains a small part of the film. It's just not her project, for me to really be excited about.

Begam Samru really was not being considered by many of the leading A listers. Rani is not relevant, and Vidya refused the project a long time back. Zoya's film would have been great for her, but the buzz around it died months back. What you're saying may be true regarding the dates, but she's not in the news anymore all of a sudden for upcoming projects. We hear Deepika, Katrina, Anushka, Parinteeti, heck even Shraddha and Illeana being contenders for films. Vidya and Priyanka have slowed down as well but something tells me they've not slowed down as much Kareena has. Or it may not be that Kareena has slowed down, the buzz itself has and so have the offers. That is why I keep on repeating that she needs to make very smart choices...and I say that as her well wisher. 😆
