I don't think Sanchi has any good quality except that she was indeed very loving as a sister towards her Shiv bhaiya.

Otherwise she is full of herself, she's temperamental, dishonest, haughty, selfish and manipulative spoilt brat. She laughs with friends but talks rudely to them also if she gets pissed. She does not respect elders. She looks down upon poor people or those from villages. Even when she gave money to Anandi for NGO women she did it in a condescending way. Like a rich girl throwing away money for charity.
She's pretentious, perverted, farcical, ill mannered both as a human being and as a girl. She is mostly frustrated and fumes for no reason. She's dogged in pursuit of what she wants and would even do immoral, illegal stuff, lies and trickery to get what she wants.
She is basically shallow and her idea of making people happy etc. is materialistic.

She was very cheap in the way she dealt with Anandi and Singhs during AnSh marriage. She tried to meddle in AnSh married life in hope of getting Anandi kicked from their house by sometimes talking about their intimacy issues with Ira, or ruining food cooked by Anandi or other barking and allegations of Anandi trapping Shiv.

She has no idea of what real life is like. She's insensitive, ignorant and mean.

She is good looking, educated and from a worthy family. But as a person she is useless, bratty and cheap.

Earlier it seemed she was doing what she did because she was disturbed as a possessive sister. Now she's possessive and infatuated with Jagya. It first seemed she had picked him because she wanted to get back at Shiv and Anandi. Now it seems she is competing with Ganga and Singhs over ownership of Jagya!

Her behaviour is inexplicable! What she wants, nobody knows!

Perhaps she thinks this drama can get Anandi out of their family since her family can't bear to see her hurt. Dunno!

Shekhars spoilt and pampered her a lot and think no one had right to reject their perfect baby doll. They love her a lot so her surface level efforts of making adjustments to prepare herself for marriage are looking like some great effort or sacrifice from her side to them! And they think if she's doing so much then toh no one has right to reject her.
They can't see her sad so they cursed Jagya. (This was also the reason why they agreed for this alliance despite their reservations).

As a viewer i really do not like the character Sanchi.And the execution of this character is not at all acceptable for me too.I do not believe that she and her trear is at all worthy for such a loving and caring family like shekhers.They are just wasting there time and energy to her.And sanchi is a cheater.She is not only cheating her family but also herself too.

But if we think from the storyline prospective i really believe that she is worthy for this story line.

According to me Bv is an epic story of Indian telly industry. And I do not believe on the concept of the main lead or pallal lead within an epic.An epic is made up by two types of characters. Few no of the pivotal characters and Ends no of parallel characters.

1.Pivotal characters:-Those characters who not only made according to the story line of a particular story but also the introduction of this type of characters gives the story an important turn.Like-

Anandi:- the most important character of BV.In fact she is the name character. The total story line revolved either around her or the persons related to her.

Dadisa:-The main hurdle of anandi's child marriage .Without this character we can not understand that what is the actual hurdle of of a child marriage which itself is a curse for our society.

Jagya:-Another victim of child marriage. The transformation of a guy from his boyhood to his manhood is well executed through this character.And these type of mental transformation is really a major obstacle to make a child marriage into a successful one.

Gouri :- Entry of this character give the story a 180 degree turn. Though she is no more in the story but for me she will be always a very important and pivotal character of BV who give the story an another attribute.

Shivraj Shekher:-I think the second half of the story BV only start with the entry of the character of Mr shivraj shekher.According to me Bv is not only a story of an unsuccessful child marriage but this is a story which show that what is the difference between a child marriage and an adult marriage. Why an adult marriage in always most welcome rather than a child marriage. off course there would be many problems in adult marriage too, unless until no divorce will happen in the world.But still an adult marriage is more important for our society.And the BV makers have made the character shivraj shekher to show all this positive side of an adult marriage and its importance in our society.

Sanchi :- sanchi is a very important character of this story.Becoz she is introduced to create the hurdle for anandi and her adult marriage.in fact not only in anandi's but also to creat hurdle in Jagdeesh's adult marriage too.

2. Parallal characters:-who are the also the very important characters of a story.their presence always support the story line but they can not give any twist and trun a particular story.like all the rest of Singhs, and Shekehrs and off course Ganga.

So as a pivotal character Sanchi herself really needs this kind of importance or in another word we can say that Bv makers are giving so much importance for this particular character only to make her a pivotal character of the story.

(The total analysis i have done only on the basis of my opinion.I have no intensity to hurt anybody.if my post will hurt anybody i am begging apology from him/her in advance)

@nandita i like ur points except only one for me jagya is the centric character cv's need his impact on all the characters, though sanchi character portrayed for creating problems in anandhi's life i feel cv's want to complete the tussle of anandhi and gauri through this sanchi who is currently replaced for gauri. Rest of the sanchi story will be handled only by anandhi .
