Kithni garmi hai complained Aastha under her breath as she walked with Ridha and Shlok.

mama isiliye tho ice cream khanay ja rahe hain' Smirked Ridha.

Listening to the comment Shlok laughed gently.

Mujhe pata hai' retorted Aastha back.

Chalo wahan chalthay hain' said Shlok as he pointed towards a table that was placed at the corner left of store's open ground.

Shlok pulled the chairs for Aastha and Ridha to sit. Aastha looked away. All she wanted was to just get over this charade.

Ridha aapko konsi flavor chahiye?' asked shlok

Papa main bhi aaungi. Mujhe pink icecream chahiye' she said

pink?' laughed shlok . He unconsciously looked at Aastha trying to establish an eye contact, but only found her smiling at Ridha. She still was not looking at him.

He felt sad. Parents usually loved to share such special moments where they children would say something so innocent that it would just force them to forget all the troubles of their life and just enjoy the moment at hand.

Shlokh carried Ridha in his arms towards the ice cream counter.

Aastha stared at their back and turned her attention to the menu that was lying on the table. She did not notice a man in black suit glaring at her.

His face was rugged and had a slight stub of beard and his eyes hid behind blue shades.

Just then his phone rang.

Han voh ayah hua hai yahan'

main jantha hun. Aap fikr math kijiye...

Nahi aisa kuch nahi hoga. Aastha nay ek bhaar bhi uski taraf nahi dekha'

ok ..jaise aap chahein wase hi hoga' he said

He then placed his cell phone and continued to glare at aastha

mama ..hum aa gaye' shouted Ridha happily.

"see papa nay mujhe pink icecream diya hai' she said happily

beta usay strawberry kehthay hain' said Aastha softly

Lekin hum tho pink hi kahengay. Strawberry..kithna mushkil hai na' cut shlok

Ridha, beta sahih naam seekhna chahiye' argued Aastha , still not looking at him

han lekin phir kabhi. Abhi tho time hai icecream khanay ka' continued shlok

Aastha wanted to argue more but she decided against it.

Yes papa,...Papa always right' she said happily.

Shlok smiled and just in time caught aastha rolling her eyes.

Just then a ball flew from behind and hit Ridha on her hand. Which made the icecream in her hands fly and

SPAT.. it landed on Aastha's face. The cone was sticking out perfectly on Aastha's nose and her face smeared with pink cream.

Aastha closed her eyes and then she heard laughter around her. It was Ridha and Shlok who were laughing out loud. As if it was the funniest thing they had ever seen.

It probably was true but Aastha did not want to encourage it. She removed the cone from her face only to see a huge cream-like cone sticking out.

Now this even she could not resist. She could see through her both eyes the pointy cone shaped cream that was clinging perfectly.

She burst out laughing.

Mama aap funny lag rahe ho said Ridha laughing

Acha said astha. Then she started making silly noises out of her mouth which made Ridha giggle harder.

Click' came the sound of the camera.

Shlok just took the picture

Sholk .. phone do mujhe' said aastha still smile

no way' he said taking the phone out of aastha's reach

She got up and tried to get it from his hand and then lost her grip on the chair's arm and Smack

Her face hit shlok;s forehead and there it was. His face now covered in Strawberry cream.

Ridha was roaring with laughter and was joined by Aastha and Shlok

Hi Aastha' came a thick voice from behind them.

Aastha turned around and immediately her laughter was wiped off her mouth. She immediately got up and addressed the man in front of her.

Hello Rajeev ji...Kaise hain aap' she asked

Looks like maine aapko disturb ker diya hai.' said Raajeev removing his blue shades to reveal his hazel eyes.

No no please join us' said aastha offering the seat besides hers. Main abhi aathi hun.

She ran off to the bathroom to get herself cleaned up.

Rajeev glared at Aastha's back but there was someone else who was glaring at him with red shot eyes.

"Hello Shlokh' said Rajeev with a smirk on his face.

Long time, no see' he continued.

Shlokh's colors faded as he controlled his anger by digging his fingers deep into his fists.

Thum yahan kya ker rahe ho Rajeev' he said. His voice was shaking with anger.

wohi jo thum nahi ker sakthay' said Rajeev smiling

Papa. Mujeh shu shu jana hai' said Ridha.

Shlokh took Ridha by hand and took her towards the restrooms.

On the way he saw Aastha come out.

Ridha ko bathroom jana hai' he said

Aastha noticed the change in his tone. Even though she was glad that he was not his smiling self trying to talk to her every available moment, his sudden change in tone did bother her.

Shlok angrily marched towards the table where he saw that Rajeev was sitting comfortably on Aastha's chair.

Thumhari himmat kaise hui yahan anay ki' said Shlok

Chill Shlokh. Ye sawal tho mujhe kerna chahiye. Ki Thum yahan kaise?' asksed Rajeev coolly

Shlokh angrily kicked the leg of the chair where Rajeev was sitting.

Relax relax. Main uth jatha hun. Mujhe pata hai ki thumhay kis baat se chid ho rahi hai. Waise bhi... mujhe uski seat per baitnay ka koi shok nahi. Jiskay paas pura product ho , voh sample rakh ker kya karega' said Rajeev in a slyly

haramzade... he said coarsely. His face turned the deepest shade of red

papa' screamed ridha once again

shlok closed his eyes and put his hands in his pocket. Then he turned around to face Ridha who was clinging on to aastha's hands.

Aayiye aastha. Please baite' said Raajeev

Aapnay mujhe insey nahi milaya' said Rajeev pointing towards Shlok

Aastha could see that Shlok was angry. She did not know the reason behind it but she guessed that it was due to this man's presence.

ye kabhi nahi badlega' she thought to herself

ji ye Shlok hain' she said

Shlok?' acha friend hain? Asked Rajeev coolly

Shlokh clenched his fists

Nahi ..ye meray... started Aastha

oh, waise before I forget aastha. Kal meray ghar party hain aur thumhay aana hi hoga. Full family kay saath. Sister chahthi hain ki woh thumharay aai baba sey milay' cut Rajeev

Sorry Rajeevji. Mujhe kal kuch zaroori kaam hai. Kal Ridha ka first day of school hai. Aur I am sure voh thak jayegi.

Phir kabhi' Said Aastha

Rajeev looked at Shlok and saw him smirk

He turned around and took Aastha's hand

"oh comeon yaar. Please .. pleaseee.. meray liye?' he urged her

Aastha felt uncomfortable and she immediately took away her hand.

Main dekhthi hun' she replied and put on her shoulder handbag

chalo Ridha dair ho gayi hai'

Aaastha main thumhay drop ker dun?'

Nahi main drop kerdunga' interrupted shlok

No its ok. Main kudh hi chali jaungi.

Aastha took Ridha with her and started to move when Ridha let go of her hand and rushed towards Shlokh

aap bhi chalo na pleaseee' she pleaded.

Main aaunga beta. Jald hi' Promised Shlok and he handed Ridha to Aastha.

Aastha left without looking back at Shlok who had become teary.

So Shlokh see you around'

Just then Shlokh took Raajeev by his collar

You leave her alone. Agar maine thumhari gandi shakal uskay paas bhi dekha .. tho mujhsey bura koi nahi hoga' Said shlokh

Raveej jerked Shlokh's hand off his shirt and dusted his suit as if cleaning it

agar ithni hi fikar hothi, tho uskay khonay ki galthi kabhi nahi kerthay. Waise Mr. shlokh..thumharay jaisa bewakoof main aaj tak apni zindagi main nahi dekha. Biwi hai lekin paas nahi.. beti hai lekin paas nahi.. aur paas kon hai? he laughed harshly

He put his shades back on and left shlokh to sink in his own pain.

Precap: There are lights flashing everywhere. The spot light is on Shlok.

Suddenly there is a girl who looks at him and starts dancing. Shlok looks at her angrily and confused. He looks over and starts searching for Aastha and finds her ignoring him. He noticed her cheeks were slightly flushed. Immediately a smirk forms on he face. He turns and faces the girl and starts to dance with her.
