Are Young People Prone to Heart Attacks?

Today Saif Ali Khan has been hospitalized complaining of chest pain. He started experiencing chest pain around 5 in the evening today (18 Jan). He was at a rehearsal for some award function. He had come to India two days back only. As he started experiencing chest pain, he was rushed to Lilavati Hospital. He had his angiography and it was reported on the news channel that he was ok now and conscious and talking to his many stars friends who are with him at the hospital. Reports also said that most probably he might have had a mild heart attack. But now he is ok and safe. Soha Ali, his sister was at the hospital. Stars who visited Lilavati Hospital to see Saif were Fardeen Khan and Wife Natasha, Preity Zinta, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Pradeep Sarkar and many more.. Saif is in his thirties..

So are young people really prone to heart attacks?

If yes then what precautions should one take?

Yes... as young as 17 years old 😭 mainly due to lifestyle and eating habits, family disease and lack of exercise.

Looks like Tania ji will get a heart attack now with Myth talks.

Go for a holiday to whichever place you like. That will take care of all the fast paced city life, break out of the time stretched routine and the heart will need no Coreg.

And add a couple of Margaritas on that beach, and life will fall back in rhythm.Tania teacher's own tested advice.😛

Thankyou!!! Tania Mam!!! Haah!! My sacred heart is really working fine !!!When we don't respect our heart and give importance only to brain then it makes us remember that it is also present in our human sytem😊.BTW all chest pains are not heart attacks!! waiting for some doctors in the forum to give advice on this stress and its effects!!No problem with my heart!! 😆But I mentioned this only to say "Young people have ample scope to get heart attack".My friend's brother who is fine and healthy suddenly died and people said its heart attack. He was 29 years old.

Cheers,

Myth

I am still waiting for someone to write a professional advice on this topic as this is very important!... ok bollywood influence🤔 and people got consious about their health but still its good that someone brought it up .. it may help many people out here 😊

What limited knowledge i have on this issue that initially this was considered an "old Age" disease.. which is not relevant to the current scenario. Doctors have seen cases as young as 17 years old. There was a 22 year old who had to undergo Angio Plasty It is quite scary!!

Lifestyle is sure hectic but getting arteries blocked is our fault.. Use to too much junk and desi food cooked in 2 kgs of oil daily is a method of warm welcome for heart problems. Our ancestors were used to a difficult hardship oriented life. So the desi food and oily feasts weren't so much of a problem. It is high time we should kick those treats out of our life and eat to live, Not live to eat 😊 Moreover statistically the result of angio plasty is not that satisfactory though it sure works.. but the ultimate cure to a blockage is bye-pass surgery. Now there are those cases in which doctors have recommended angio plasty when it was the case of bye-pass 🤢 Just because of the fact that angio plasty is much more commercialized. The stents used in the process are being manufactured like i-pods. I have seen doctors doing angio plasty because they have got share in manufacturer's profits 🤢 I am not saying that bye-pass is a better solution than angio plasty [as bye-pass is relatively frightening than angio plasty..people go for a softer option]and that depends on individual cases.. but due to heart attacks there is damage to the heart, if not taken proper care even after angio plasty we can't prevent heart attacks ...and arteries are prone to get blocked more often

Is it not better to avoid all this chaos and lead a simple life?? 😕

And BTW.. Saif has only undergone through Angio Graphy which is a procedure done for finding IF THERE IS ANY heart problem. HE is not having any heart problem i think. He is cleared..

But i still wish that someone give us professional look on this subject... 😊
