Muqaddar, Qazi and Test of Love
The title of my post is very unusual today but after giving a lot of thought (and also reading some other posts), I want you all to read this with an open mind. We have all bashed and criticized Gul and her writers in the past week but for a few minutes, let's try to analyze what she is actually trying to say.
Muqaddar: There has been a lot of emphasis on the term since the promo aired last week.
All the characters have blamed their muqqaddar' for their problems but is destiny really that unfair to so many people?
While all the characters have been manipulated by other's evil actions/intentions or their own foolish actions, the person whose muqaddar is really bad is none other than RAZIA.
This muqaddar ka khel in reality is the beginning of the end of Razia's game that she has so skillfully played and hidden for the past 20+ years.
This muqaddar ka khel is also the beginning of the journey towards justice for Zoya, the person who has been most affected by Razia.
In Ramayana, Ravan's muqaddar ka khel started when he abducted Sita. A lot of people were affected and tormented during that 14 year period but eventually justice prevailed and Ravan was eliminated from this world.
Yes, in order to bring Razia, the Ravan (here) down a lot of collateral damage will happen but in end justice shall prevail.
QAZI: The PH and Gul have been on the receiving end since the community nikaah fiasco happened. While I am not a Muslim, most Muslim people have been offended by the way the nikaah was portrayed.
There is an old saying: Jab mian biwi razi tho kya karega qazi
Is this what Gul is actually trying to say here?
The nikaah between Ayaan and Zoya was invalid for various reasons:
- there were no guardians
- the bride and the groom were not in the right frame of mind and didn't say haan' because they wanted to get married
- Zoya's father's name was WRONG
Essentially, this was a vivah where var maala might have happened but saat pheras were never done. In Hinduism such a vivah would also be invalid.
So, even if Ayaan and Zoya say QH in front of everyone on Monday or they sign the nikaah papers, this nikaah will remain INVALID. We need not panic if Zoya is forced to say QH or sign the papers on Monday because she is still NOT married to Ayaan.
Why are the qazis and molvis insistent then?
Not every religious leader in our community is honest or does things for the benefit of the people in the community. If a Hindu pandit performs a wrong yagna, do you think he will ever owe up to his mistake? If a doctor performs a wrong procedure, will his ego ever make him say sorry? Yes, there are always exceptions to the rule but in our society, religious leaders, politicians and other leaders are often self serving.
If the qazi admits to his mistake, the whole community will assume that the whole community nikaah ceremony was a farce.
A man like Siddiqui is making things worse. Because he values his status in the society above the truth and what's right, he is going with the flow.
Is that what Gul is really trying to show? Because of these religious leaders, who are more worried about their image and their own egos, people like Ayaan and Zoya have been trapped into an invalid nikaah?
TEST OF LOVE
The coming tracks will definitely be a test of love for many relationships
Asad-Zoya
Ayaan-Humeira
And the biggest test would be Razia-Humeira
Razia is the one person who can prove that this nikaah is invalid TODAY. She knows who Zoya's abbu is. When she reads the nikaah naama, she can point it out right away.
Will she?
This will place Razia in the biggest dilemma of her life. She can save her daughter's life by revealing the truth but that means she opens a can of worms of all her past misdeeds. It would be divine justice when Razia reveals Zoya's real father to the world- she will save both his daughters by one revelation.
Don't worry about the sanctity of marriage- NO NIKAAH HAS HAPPENED
Don't worry that Ayaan and Zoya will fall for each other- THEY WON'T
Just like Ramayana and Mahbharat, QH is a saga where the love story is essential but not the only story. This is a saga where justice will eventually prevail and the two families shall unite.
Please don't comment if your intention is to bash the PH or rant about how Asya have been ruined forever. We have tons of other posts for that.
Thanks for reading
