Deepika's IIFA Speech - 'I love you Ranbir' ?

Just saw IIFA this week and I couldn't stop laughing at Deepika's speech. For those that haven't seen it or heard it...here is what she said:

""Thank you Ranbir for making me look so good and complementing the two of us and (pauses)...I love you and I miss you.""

It was also NOT edited on tv to make it sound like that, because this is a video a fan made and it sounds exactly the same as it was aired

Again, I am not making this post to bash Deepika but I just found it a bit desperate, Also, can someone please explain to me why she is getting the Jodi award for yjhd THIS YEAR 😆😆😆

The funny thing was when they showed Ranbir in the AV he sounded extremely professional and barely mentioned her name

I so agree 1. Getting Best Jodi Award for the previous year shows calbre and authentic IIFA Is!? Only to give some googly price for her performance, they handed trohpy to Deepika!

2. I dont know desperate but yes Deepika should get over it! I hope she doesnt use the same Rambir tactic in her Ram leela promotion! It Sucks No... and btw It was for CE Promotions

3. And to fans who will say that she said it as A FRIEND??!!!? U dont say I Love You infront of hundred of people and to whole world auidence to a person who you WERE in a relationship... Freaking He is was dating Katrina then

That is exactly what Deepikas fans will manuplicate the situation into, That she said it as friends/ She just happened to say I love you to the man of her dreams who intitals she has tattooed onto her neck for the rest of her life 😆😆

What I find funny is Ranbir recently said that he barely keeps in touch with Deepika yet she is going around saying I love you and I miss you 😆😆 Clearly this is being done to get attention otherwise she could've just said thank you for your support or thanks for being a great friend.

She always constantly has to name drop Ranbir at every chance she gets.

At first I thought she was collecting an award for Barfi; Ranbir and Priyanka. It's hilarious that they nominated YJHD in the first place

Same way the ass Kapoor uses hers and Sonam's name instead of his precious "I will give up my life for you" girlfriend for the publicity of his idiotic film.

It's a two way streak neither one of them is innocent and yes Deepika did use his name as a costar as a friend because the movie was nothing without both of them having an equal share in it, nothing wrong with thanking your costar.

i haven't seen it but most of the time im pretty sure its

1) done solely for publicity, Wasn't Ranbir coming out with W*F statements during that time aswell

😆 lets just agree to disagree
For me she said it in a spur of the moment thing especially since he himself wasn't present for that award. If he was then obviously the results would have been different.
