Na.. but asians can carry an halo of math geniuses i suppose. Russians are really good at math, I would say...😊

Well, I would say that's a bit of stereotyping 😳 I have seen many people from Italy and Brazil who are just awesome at Math so I kind of find it hard to generalize about it.

I think it has nothing do with nationality and more to do with aptitude. Lot of other countries people are too, like Japanese, Swedish, Americans.

As qwerty ji said Russians are good at Maths.For that matter they are good at Physics also.I like books of Russian Authors and Zeemansky being my favourite!!

BTW Italians,Germans are also good at Maths.

If we study Vedic Mathematics we will definitely say asians are the best mathematicians.In vedic amthematice several mathematical solutions are solved in a simple manner by simple rules.
Vedic Mathematics is one of my special fields of interest!

ohk...if you ask me ...I'm always poor when it comes to anything involving numbers 😛 😆 ...so you just can not generalise as it depends on the aptitude not on environment or nationality

We Indians use to be really good in math and aptitude and now also we are,before also need was there now also .In india whereever money is involve calculations are really accurate weather sabzi wala aur maids...it's really amazing the way these people count on fingers like sava rupya and all ,but as we are growing we are not using our mind to do simple calculations we are getting dependent on calculaters and computer and that is where we are losing the ability to do normal math.Asians are good but they need to work on their abilities .

it isnt any race in particular IMO...it depends on how much of a hard worker you are, your focus, motivation, discipline and most importantly patience. I have noticed that people who are good at math are extremely hard working and focused and yess dont really have a social life either😉

i like this topic but the only reason i can think of is in asian countries students don't use calculator as much as us/canadians do so if u use less calculator and memorise all those multiplication tables u can do math in ur head and i guess asian ppl are pretty strict in studies espcially math 😊

Everyone agrees that it is a generalization. 😃
