I saw the trailer and i am just a bystander and I think it will be a flop not because of Deepika but Ranveer.

I sat for a second thinking omg what was going to SLB's brain when he cast Ranveer. He looks awful. I apologize if I offend some but I just cannot see him as an actor. I see him as jumping jack background dancer.😆

This is suppose to be a love story, could he have not cast someone more handsome. I thought if he wanted a newcomer than why not Sushant Singh who would have looked great with Deepika.

I thought of Ranbeer Kapoor but than I said naaah. Who else? Its not like there is a flock of handsome new actors in Bollywood. The Khans are aging. The only good actor that would have looked good with Deepika is Hritikh Roshan.

My 3 choices would have been:

1. Hritikh

2. Sushant Singh Rajput

3. Ranbeer Kapoor.

Ps: I saw so much fighting in the trailer that I think it will flop due to that alone. Wish it was just a pure simple and grandeur love story in the likes of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

I would never, ever pay to watch a Sushant Singh film in this lifetime at least.😆 Ranveer made the trailer for me, in fact I cannot imagine anyone carrying that rugged look, fiery walk, haughty attitude, inherent wildness other than Ranveer. He stood out; he with Deepika stood out even more. Actually Ranveer seems to be the kinda actor that can manage to look good with almost all of his co stars, something not many others are capable of.

I respect your opinion...but I will shamelessly admit that his presence made my loins moist. My brain basically exploded into a disgusting pile of goo after watching him in the trailer. [/EXAGGERATION]

A pretty boy for this role just would not have worked.

I think Ranveer is like perfect for this role,Ranbir is a great actor and so is HR but I dont think its all about acting looking like charactet is imp too,Sushant no way hes like boy next door for me,Ranveer is perfect here.

I liked Ranveer & he is hot!! I think for a guy he is very goodlooking! Ofcourse some may not like him but I don't think that he is that bad to not be in this movie! He is a very good actor, dancer & ha awesome chemistry with DP! What more can you ask for?!

The only other guy that cud fit among the one you mentioned is Hrithik but I don't see why we should crib as I like Ranveer in the trailer so far & so have many more! Sorry that he doesn't suit to ur sensibilities & let's wait for Nov before declaring it a flop!

i loved him in lootera and loving him here. he is a live wire. yes he has almost 0 fans but if the word of mouth is good for movie this might turn out to be a hit for bhansali.

he came out flying in the trailer...i am surprised he got as much footage as deepu, i thought it was all gonna be about deepu and deepu.

but you never know...bhansali movies are very hard to predict. it can bomb like what. and if it bombs..watchout for some major entertainment ahead. watchout for reviews from khalid, and raja sens.

The role did not ask for a pretty boy, it asked for a rugged, fiery, red-blooded and rakish young man; Ranveer fit the bill gracefully---the banter and the resolution, languid mischief and simmering passion---he delivered it all

Now let's wait for the movie--
