alpana sehgal is a rich business tycoon and coincidentally mahen's ex girlfriend whom mahen had ditched ..............but mahen won't be able to recognise alpana for she had gone for a plastic surgery.

alpana will play the role of gauri's mentor.

I agree with you. Ippi does seem to be caring, loving and forgiving. But I think Nikhila will influence her to become bad. Especially when Shiv will really fall for Gauri.

Just a thought here; I think Ippi is a gorgeous woman. She's confident, and she is determined to get to her ends. Moreover, she makes a very good friend and she has a good sense of humour. If Gauri hadn't been that dedicated to her husband (& that good, caring, and that in love with Shiv), I would have wanted that Ippi and Shiv work things out between them.
