As an example, Sanaya has trended at #1 on whopopular, a site that is accountable. Not part of the Indian Media. It is a global site with global participation of 'the most popular people of the world.' Sanaya has more votes and has been at #1 for actresses in India for a long while now.
As well, she has more votes than any other Indian performer.

There are many such examples, if you look around.

The other forum that you are talking about, none of Sanaya's fans (inc many SaRun) visit, because intelligent conversations or debates or discussions cannot be held there, without it becoming a childish fight by the hard core fans of the said actor. They don't have anything to contribute other than gushing. They are so insecure, that they cannot handle anyone else having any limelight! And then it becomes a personal attack. When Sanayaholics try to defend themselves or have posts regarding Sanaya, the Mods instead of guiding the fans of the said actor on the right path, actually encourage this kind of childish behavior because they themselves are partial to the said actor. Then they reprimand the fans of Sanaya but never of the said actor.
This whole scenario is actually rather bizarre, because SaRun are extremely good friends!!!

But my advice to you would be to take IF ranking with a pinch or rather a kilogram of salt! IF is unimportant in the grand scheme of things! It just shows how active the fans are.
And nothing else.

Now I do believe in luck and everything but Sanaya is not unlucky. She's gained tremendous success after MJHT. She's gained such a huge fan-base. Got interviewed in UK & elsewhere, gained a status among her peers, got her talent recognized by so many people around the world.

I usually never see Indian telly actors gifs on tumblr apart from DMG/Geet stars but now she's a part of that bubble. What is greater than being noticed for your talent? She was really good in MJHT but hardly anyone noticed (I loved her there though) but look where she's come to now? =) Yea, she doesn't get enough awards for it but she did beat her co-star for ITA fresh face even before IPK success. That was her first lucky streak & it's continued till now. I do wish she gets more awards. She deserves it SO much!!

And about the IPK forum, people didn't appreciate her even when the show was on. They just loved that man-handling Arnav so much. So, it's no surprise now. I didn't like going there just coz they bash her pointlessly. I'm sure many sanaya fans prefer to stay away from that forum anyway. =/

But if you look at it, even DD got less awards. In fact, many talented tv actors hardly get awards. =/ Let's hope Sanaya gets more success in future. =)

Of course things are going to be a little different, shes got a new show, so most of her fans moved to this forum, so you cant expect everyone to just fill all the pages relating to her in ipkknd forum, sanaya fans do that over here! because all that are left are mostly the fans of the other co star, named barun in the other forum, duh!

Next, yes, some fans are different than others, so what if baruns fans are more enthusiastic? You cant pin it on anyone or complain, sanaya has a new show, and even a greater fan following thanx to her new costar and acting, so baruns fans work even harder to show their support for him. Thats nothing to cry over. And as for if rankings, dude! Theyre just rankings! Youre totally over thinking things. Its not as if they show whos a better actor or not!

Asfor the awards, she'll get them when the time is right, honestly, things happen for a reason, its berter that she didnt get an award because of fan following, but it would be better if she got those jury awards that dont depend on fan following, that will be the best, when she eill be truly appreciated for what she deserves. And seeing her acting, i think that times not too far away.

So chill out, people! You stress too much

And yes, the bashers did try to shut that down, too. The Mods almost helped as well!!! In fact, it is not even a sticky, as it should be. After all, wasn't Sanaya a part of IPK?? AND a BIG part of it???

Actually, as a fan of Sanaya, initially, I did go to IPK, but got really pissed at the way Sanaya was being treated so I left. I would love to go there. As I do have many friends in that forum. Some are wonderful writers, but unfortunately, I cannot bear to go there. It is too stressful and really not worth my time to be harassed by the few childish fans of the other co-star. Who seem to have forgotten that were it not for Sanaya, the show would not have garnered the fame it did!

I agree. If some fans work harder, good for them. And yes, IF really in unimportant in the big picture.

Sanaya is a phenomenal actor of International standards. She rightly deserves the awards. But really, I have no respect for the way the Awards are conducted, since they do not depend on acting skills!
