Life OK's Khauff that is slated to go on air in October-November, will see Megha Shroff playing the wife of Sameer Soni.

A source confirmed about Sameer Soni essaying the role of a paranormal researcher on the show along with Abigail Jain.

Confirming the news Megha says, "I am very excited to do the show. I have earlier done Aahat (Sony Entertainment Television) and Fear Files (Zee TV) that were episodics, while in this show, my involvement would be till the end."

"I like doing dramatic shows, but this is going to be a complete new experience for me and I am looking forward to it," she added. Megha plays a traditional yet modern wife in the show.

The actress, who was earlier seen in shows like Kumkum-Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan (Star Plus), Main Teri Parchhain Hoon (NDTV Imagine), Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg (Colors) as a main lead, was recently seen in an episodic of Fear Files (Zee TV).

"Today when we watch saas-bahu shows, we see bahus and mother-in laws dressed heavily adorning gold accessories. But have you seen a woman wearing a saree with only a watch on? That is the kind of personality I am donning in the show," she informed.

Commenting on the show, Sameer Soni said, "This is a very character-driven show and I am very excited to do this.Khauff is a show based on paranormal activity and my character is the protagonist of the show who will be fighting the darker side of life."

@ Red - Thank God Megha won't be wearing heavy sarees, jewelries or Long traditional Mangalsutra in the show😊😊 I Like simple and realistic looks for women on TV as well. I mean honestly who in real life wears 2 feet long Mangalsutra anyways. I like the simple saree with a watch look, simplicity at it's best👍🏼

@Blue - Finally We are hearing something about the show from the horses mouth 😳😳 I am happy that the show will be character and story driven as appose to domestic drama. Thanks Samir for your comment and eagerly waiting for Khauf to start
