Alakh,

I am confused now, where is this photo from? When the dibbi was collected? How did you locate such a clear shot in that murky frame? I thought it was from the precap, whence my comment. But do not rule out all women because the hand looks masculine. That could be a red herring.

This is why I never waste my time on such detective work, which is pointless when the CVs are allergic to logic and even to facts! It is best to enjoy such acting as one can - that does not include Rajat wrinking his nose till it looks like a mushroom and staring maniacally before charging off like the Energiser bunny😉 - and not waste non-renewable time on such stuff.

No, why would Salima be tortured? The precap, with a woman quite different from Salima, shows clearly that Jalal has found out that she is not the one, and is trying to trap his current suspect No.1

I loved today's episode.. I wonder if Jalal feels bad and if hes gonna apologize to Jodha.. But I don't wanna see Salima tortured. She can eat that ark but.. its not gonna harm her😕

Anyhow, our bonny boy seems to have finally stirred his grey cells and found out that the dibbi was planted in Salima's room by the owner of the hand. So he now going to get proof by making her eat what she knows is dature ka ark, and so she will refuse under some pretext of the other.

Oh, I agree with you about the judicial system in early Mughal India. It was not much better in France under the Louises, till Napoleon arrived and formulated the Code Napoleon.

These statements about Mughal justice are just grandiose stuff meant to impress the viewers, like the Rajputs parroting (self)praise of their maryada. It does not seem to bother Jodha or anyone else that Ratan Singh was practically a dacoit himself.

And we have Jodha wanting a free ride for Amer from Jalal, without paying even any EMIs to him for its insurance from subjugation by the likes of Sharifuddin. What Adham said to Bhagwan Das, that they gave a daughter and secured their safety, is spot on, but catch anyone acknowledging that honestly!

Ok, then it is the camera angle that fooled me, for the profile did not look to me like Salima. She should normally have been quite startled at her cousin-cum-husband suddenly acting lovey dovey and very un-Jalal-like. She seems quite normal,does she not?

Kamala, I am by now fed up of this endless exercise. I wish some disgruntled harem inmate would poison the whole lot - Jalal, Jodha. Ruqaiya, the works, except Rahim. It is stupid and demeaning, this endless ranting and raving, and the consequent waste of good actors. Soon, they will forget how to perform well. Already, Rajat scrunches up his nose, making it look like a misshapen potato, at the drop of a hat, and narrows his eyes into a manic glare. One of these days, as they say in the fairy tales, the wind will change while he is doing it and his face will be frozen in that expression!

Salima's voice seemed hesitant so I am assuming she was surprised but did not oppose Jalal.

In many TV serials, the heroes don't think a lot. But here, it is history. So I hope the cvs will show Jalal as with some brain. And Ruqayya also. Wikipedia says Akbar regretted even marrying again, such was his devotion to Ruqayya. Here they are showing her like a spoilt brat.

I posted a topic about this and we compared everybody's hand 😆 Khawaja shera's hands are manly but the ring she wears doesn't match.. 😆
