Shyamala Amer princess didnt perform badly against Shirfu but were caught by treachery from Shirfu...when they were mourning dead boddy of Suryabhan...Again Shirfu didnt kill Surya by bravery...but attacking from behind...

Jalal's ministers are of Bharmal's age and quite fat also...Jitna kiya kafi kiya...

No, my dear Ela, for the correct position is, as you would remember, that Suryabhan was defeated in a duel on the battlefield by Sujamal, and but for being Jodha's fiance, he would have been killed on the spot. It is true that Sharifuddin killed him thereafter by attacking him treacherously from behind, but he should, in the normal course, have been dead already!

Then, you do not stand around on a battlefield, and that too all three of you, mourning your dead. If you do, and the enemy captures you, that is not his treachery. It is your folly. They got rounded up like sitting ducks, without even trying to fight their way out. It was a dismal show.

Jalal's Ministers were all potbellied perishers, as PG Wodehouse would have said. I cannot imagine what possessed Jalal to lug these good for nothings with him.

My dear Alakh,

It could be Jalal's, but I can tell you whose it is not. It is not Salima Sultan's.

Anyhow, our bonny boy seems to have finally stirred his grey cells and found out that the dibbi was planted in Salima's room by the owner of the hand. So he now going to get proof by making her eat what she knows is dature ka ark, and so she will refuse under some pretext of the other.

but to fight against them for the Mughal invaders, Jalal's whole, broad strategy of melding Rajputana and the Rajputs, as equals in respect and prestige but also as loyal upholders of the his regime, with the Mughal empire, will also fail. With that failure, the Mughals will never be able to belong to Hindustan . They will forever remain outsiders, and Akbar's dream for a blended Hindustan will also be stillborn. Shymala darling, had to 👏 for the above lines...I have long given up on the Cvs limited brain power, so am glad you put the actual strategy into plain words👏, and yeah, Hindus killing Hindus😉

😆 Aunty.. It can't be any begam's hand.. it's too manly. Plus the begams don't wear such rings..

Maham Anga wears only only one ring.. This person looks like a man.. Probably that's why didn't say a word.. What I don't get is how did that dibbiwaala guy know nothing about who purchased it from him.. Someone must have summoned him, right?

I loved today's episode.. I wonder if Jalal feels bad and if hes gonna apologize to Jodha.. But I don't wanna see Salima tortured. She can eat that ark but.. its not gonna harm her😕

My dearest darling Shymala🤗, I disappeared for about a month visiting my janambhumi and my visit there de-addicted me of IF and all the mediocre hindi serials. I am back about two weeks now, and ended up watching JA last Monday and it so happened, I liked it. So I kinda started following it, but then ended up questioning CV's lack of skill in giving us a mentally stimulating love story between a man and a women, somewhat equal' but coming from sharply different backgrounds in medieval India. I am trying hard these days to watch all zee serials without using much of my grey cells 😉 and definitely not trying to over-analyze the CVs limited' appreciation of human behavior, psychology and reality (although it is kind of so hard not to).

Anyway, as I said I am de-addicted to IF, so I merely sometimes wonder when I have a few minutes here and there, and I have read a few of your other posts too, and liked' it, just didn't feel like getting into any serious discussions. The lines I quoted were so aptly said in simple words, I was forced to post my appreciation😊. Akbar became the greatest Moghul ruler because of his strategies and insight into political diplomacy and his ability to read human behavior- he probably appreciated the relationship building strategies' to an extent that few could appreciate at that time.

Anyway, I will try to comment - although really can't take part in the who did it' exercise going on in the forum these days, simple coz I feel CVs will make a scapegoat of anyone that is probably the least important to their' present storyline. But one thing that kept bothering me all of last week, was CVs attempt at glorifying' Mughal's justice system. Akbar, really have years to go before he can truly establish a judicial system. There wasn't much justice system to begin with nor was handed down to him by either Babur or Humayun, who for the most part in flight chased by his adversaries or trying to save his empire, both hardly had a politically stable empire to really concentrate on these aspects of political administration...
