So, unfortunately I haven't had the chance to reply back to all the lovely comments since my third year of classes have begun. I have read the comments though and I can't thank you all enough! I did see a question about whether I'd continue sending PMs for this FF when updated and the answer to that is yes. HOWEVER, it would be when I get the chance. That could mean that PMs are sent out immediately after an update or maybe even a day or two after an update. I saw another comment saying how Madhu is super strong. Yes, she is! But, you won't see that strong side to her for a few updates. At first, she will seem vulnerable but when RK comes to crossing the line in an update, she will roar. Also, I will try my best to reply back to comments on the weekend.

Chapter Two - The Second Encounter
It had been well over ten minutes when I remembered that I was to meet RK. I jumped off the bed and ran to the room I was interrogated in, RK's room. Up the stairs and straight towards the door. Before knocking, I straightened out my clothes and fixed my hair. Just as my fist was about to make contact with the door, it opened and revealed RK. He leaned against the door with his arms crossed, looking me up and down with his dark eyes. I lowered my eyes and stepped back, feeling uncomfortable in his presence.
"Ah Number Nine. You're late."
I looked up at him to see him eyeing me keenly, as though trying to read me through my eyes.
"And it's your first day."
"I..."
"I don't like excuses. You're ten minutes later than expected."
"Sorry sir."
"I'll let it go this time. Come in."
He turned around, letting me in and I feared what he had planned for our first meeting. I followed his movements into his huge room, which was covered in posters of himself. It wasn't hard to attach characteristics with his name...egoistic, self-absorbed, and arrogant. I shook my head behind him while muttering characteristics under my breath.
"Did you say something?"
He turned to face me with raised eyebrows.
"No sir."
I replied as quickly and as believably as I could.
"You know, you're my ninth personal maid and I've only been in the film industry for three years. That should tell you something."
I lowered my eyes, knowing he was indirectly threatening me.
"Do you know what you signed up for?"
I thought back to the contract and honestly had no idea what was written inside. I shook my head no slowly and watched him grin in response.
"That's good."
"It is?"
He raised an eyebrow at my question and stepped towards me. I stood my ground, not wanting him to think I feared him, though I did.
"I do the question asking. No one dares to question me. Understand?"
"Sorry sir."
"That's more like it."
Annoying, I added another word to my list.
I watched him checking me out all over again.
"Is that your uniform?"
I looked down at my clothes and realized I was still dressed in my salwaar-kameez suit from earlier.
"No sir."
"Well?"
"I forgot to change."
"You seem like the clumsy, forgetful type. That's not why I hired you."
"Why did you hire me then?"
I cursed myself in my mind as I realized I had just questioned him.
"You're not a listener either I see. What did I just say a moment ago?"
"Not to question you."
"And what did you just do?"
"I questioned you."
He stepped towards me again and I stared down towards the ground. I saw his shoes directly in front of mine. Then suddenly, I found myself staring up at him against my will. He had placed his finger beneath my chin and held my gaze.
"Never disobey me."
"Y...yes sir."
"And if you don't know what you've signed up for. I'd be more than happy to tell you."
I stared into his dark black, cold eyes.
"You give me what I want, whenever I want it. Day or...night."
He exaggerated the night part and then let an indecent smirk cross his face. I gulped; wondering if getting into this wasn't such a good idea. He let my chin fall as he moved his finger away and stepped back. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a cigarette. Then as though I wasn't in front of him, he lit it and placed it in his mouth. I had a thing against cigarettes from the past ten years. One cigarette butt had taken three of the closest lives in my heart. I couldn't help but make a comment whilst glaring at the cigarette.
"Smoking is injurious to health."
Stupid comment. I know. I honestly could care less about his health. I just wanted him to stop. He placed the cigarette between his fingers and took it out of his mouth; he blew out the smoke to the side and then faced me with an irritated expression.
"Did you come from a rehab facility?"
"No...sir."
"Then what makes you think you can make remarks regarding my smoking?"
"I just..."
I didn't know how to answer him, so I fell silent. I watched as he took another drag. Then very slowly and intentionally, he faced me, blowing the smoke into my face. I managed to close my eyes in time but not hold my breath. I ended up in a short coughing fit, holding my hands up to cover my face. I waved my hand to clear the smoke and watched RK walking away. He let out a low chuckle and then spoke menacingly.
"You have no idea what you just got yourself into Madhu-bala...ahaan."
I glared in his direction, at his back, until he spoke again.
"Don't forget to close the door on your way out."
