Episode Review: Mast and Hatke

Finally Antara took the rose from Raghu!! She calls Raghu a Kanjoos 😆

OMG Raghu said "You are different, miss call" when antara asked him why do you help me...did you see the look on his face, when he realised??

And Antara running away crying, and Raghu looking after her, helpless.

What a beautiful episode, pure rantara romance!! Full on.
Today was the start of their true love affair.

I was so thrilled that Antu took the rose, even if the meaning was different one today, which will change later. 😊

The doorie scene, OMG how innocent and passionate at the same time. Raghu's "aamir khan" and Antara's "Katrina kaif". That was a MPK moment. I can't describe in words, you have to watch it.

As for the last scene, Raghu is stressed, he always calls miss call "antara", but my highlight was when he realised why he was helping miss call. Poor antu, I can't blame her actually, she thinks they have been invited and naturally, I can understand her reaction, she is confused as to why Raghu is not helping the bride..anyone would be actually. She actually gave him an indirect compliment, that "You are God's gift" But when she ran away, crying, Raghu looked like his gut had been wrenched out. He felt so terrible, as if he didn't want to disappoint her.

Oh I can see future plots here..antu will always try to make Raghu see the right path.

Am at complete loss of words today and don't know what to write. The episode covered range of emotions like cuteness, anxiety, awkwardness, passion, intensity and trust.

Raghu and Antara are still lost in each other and Aaji is admiring them. Mach Mach is such a foodie. Raghu smartly convinces Antara that people stare at him because of his good looks. Yes Raghu, you are super good looking. Raghu and his weird compliments like hatke, sutli bomb and Biryaani. The anxiety in Antara to know from Raghu about how she looked was very much evident.

Mach Mach was very much worried about Raghu and Antara forgetting the purpose of coming to the wedding. Thank God for Aaji else Mach Mach would have for sure been a kabaab mein haddi. Cutie Mach Mach.

Antara's hesitation in telling Raghu about the dori opening up was evident but she finally giving into him shows the comfort level she shares with him. The dori tying scene was just so intense and passionate. The slight hitch in Antara's breath when Raghu touched her back. Raghu didn't bat an eye lid while watching Antara in the mirror. The trust they have in each other is amazing.

As Antara, Raghu is also eager to know from Antara about his looks. Antara has started to learn Raghu's way of complimenting.

On hearing Rukku say that Antara could not be with Raghu, Raghu's immediate reaction was Antara isn't like that. So Raghu knows that Antara would never leave his side.

Antara is irritated at Raghu for refusing to help his friend. Since Raghu lied to Antara, he is in a fix and is not able to help her. Antara's considers Raghu as the Knight in Shining Armour. This is the same Antara who thought of Raghu as a gunda and today she considers him as a savior. Their relationship has progressed a great deal.

Raghu said it that Antara holds a special place in his life and would never think before reaching out to her for help.


The dialogues Bharosa Hai Mujhpar, Meri Nazar Teri Shakal se Nahi Hategi and Teri Baat Alag Hai Miss Call just keeps ringing in my head.

So Raghu and Antara remind of another Love Story I love by Erich Segal which was eventually made into a movie. The innocence of pure love contrasted with the passion of pure need for each other and its true in Raghu and Antara too. Like I mentioned in a post later on the thread, its really hard to do innocence and passion so well and get it right at the same time, sometimes the innocence is overladen with sweetness that you cringe or sometimes the passion is too overt that it comes off crass but here they strike a beautiful balance between the two. The dori scene was done so beautifully, the slight hitches in the breath, Antara clutching onto her dupatta. As Raghu's hand is on her back, the total awareness of each other and yet the total trust of two people who have started as adversaries and yet have been drawn to each other. I love Raghu's bharosa dialogues, because I feel the sincerity in it. Antara also getting upset with Raghu for not helping "his friend " is delightful because it shows how far she has come in what she thinks of him. She does literally see him a"knight in shining armour". Beautiful acting by Ayaz and Nikita and beautiful BG again.Antara is the yang to Raghu's yin, he is incomplete without her and she is incomplete without him and they complete each other. I am going to leave with this song from "Love Story", probably add later as I process my thoughts

Eeeks! I can't think of anything other than the dori scene! Aaah I'm blushing like crazy!☺️ Will write my two cents worth when I'm feeling a little saner😆
