Yes she is much more sensible than all the other females in that household but Barka is not her mom she's her aunt. Her mom and dad are divorced and her dad (Inder's younger brother) raised her and her brother with Inder and his family.

Yep, I love her. It's amazing how she hopes that Laajo and Nikhil fall in love, in spite of knowing about Ishana. However, I think she understands the consequences if Laajo goes back to her village. She is really a sensible girl. Btw, isn't her name Gunjan? That's what I used to think...

I absolutely love her too! Especially after the episode today! Everything she said was so mature and sensible. She is not selfish in the least and was only thinking of the entire scenario objectively! She was the only one who tried to be humane to Lajjo, instead of just thinking of her as a problem! I also loved how she stood up to Ayesha today and called her out on her meanness! I really hope they don't change her character and she continues to be the voice of reason!

@MagixX: her full name is Gunjan, but she tells Lajjo to call her Gunja since that is her pet name!
