I think the same, she does care for her son, but she is not ready to forget the past and admit that she has no reasons to blame Nickil for his brother's death.

I felt so bad for Nikhil. What he won't do to get his mom's love and affection that he has been yearning for like a lost puppy for all these years. Too bad I don't think Barka is being 100% sincere with her son. I find it hard to believe that she will truly forgive him after holding a grudge against him for 10 years. I can't see it disappearing that fast. Did you see how she manipulated him again today? Putting a hand on him again something he has not had for the past 10 years and that to for her own selfish motive again as she knows her son and feels that if is told about all the consequences of his actions he will change his mind again. What a controlling mom, has absolutely no care for the havoc she is about to create for Lajjo and her family, it's all just about her and her social status.🤢

I was absolutely disgusted the entire time today. First she ignores him and blames him his entire life for an accident that happened when he was a child! Then she says she does love him and will forgive him for everything once he sends Lajjo back?! Like how can you do a 360 like that? And Nikhil falls for her words! I really think that she will go back to being a mean woman once Lajjo is gone and will continue ignoring Nikhil!

And I too felt my heart break with Nikhil's reactions to Barkha showing him attention! It was so sad :(

Yes I was feeling bad 4 both Lajjo & Nikhil. Nikhil is doing this 4 his mom's words & as u said I also feel that she'll ignore him once Lajjo will be gone, she's really pathetic, seems like she doesn't care much bout her children apart from her social status & Akash.
