Why did Asad ask this question?

Asad may have got to know that Tanveer is back either from Zoya or he would seen her himself. He fears for Zoya's life. He also knows that Tanveer knows who Zoya's father is...so he might decide to "friend" Tanveer again. This way he can get info from Tanveer and ensure that Tanveer does not harm Zoya... "Keep your friends close but your enemies closer". Asad might decide not to disclose any information he gets to Zoya. He might either some information about her father or about her mother.

In the promo, after Asad blindfolds Zoya and turns her around in circles... this is normally done in the game "blindman's buff" to disorient the "it" person. So Asad wanted to disorient Zoya from something she has found which could be dangerous or maybe Asad maybe scared of losing her. But he follows her as she is moving forward blindfolded.

She meets Humeira but might not her connection. Meanwhile Tanveer would try to kill Zoya againto ensure Asad is truly hers (the push Zoya gets from Tanveer in the promo). Asad is watching her to ensure that Zoya is safe (He comes back into the frame) Ayaan saves her ( Asad may have asked Ayaan to watch out for Zoya).

The last frame shows that Asad and Ayaan knows of the info and are at loggerheads with each other on the decision of what need to be done... Ayaan is torn between Zoya and Humeira (Ayaan favours Humeira as he turning slightly towards her)
