Frankly, I don't expect stuff from my readers. I write because I enjoy it, and I post it because I wanna spread the joy. It's on an open forum, at the end of the day it is entirely the reader's prerogative to comment or not. So I don't hold expectations.

That said, I appreciate it when my readers leave comments. Long or short, good or bad, funny or serious, I read them all, and I love them all.

As for the contents of the comments, I really appreciate it when my readers make clarifications with me with regards to the flow/storyline, because then I know where I was unclear and where I should improve.

And I also really appreciate it when readers make predictions about what might happen in the next update. So from the predictions, I can see what would be a predictable track to continue with and what wouldn't, thus allowing me to make tweaks to my plans so that I can deliver the unexpected and surprise my readers (:

And while I don't mind suggestions and sometimes even try to fit it into my story, I don't like it when I get PMs with people insisting that I make use of their suggestions. When I start on a story, I have already planned the whole thing out in my head. Not every suggestion can fit into my planned storyline, so I hope they can understand that! (:
